What an amazing place to stay! We had the most wonderful time watching game walking right past our porch while the children swam in the pool. We even saw buffalo and hippos from the pool that were grazing across from the house on the river bank. The hosts were so kind and helpful. They communicated well and made us feel right at home. We really hope to return again one day.

We had a great stay at Ingrid’s! The cottage is beautiful. We stayed on a particularly cold night so we appreciated the fireplace, the heater, and the warm blankets! Would definitely stay here again!

Great stay in the bush! Perfect setting with several fine touches left by Louise. We had a late booking and she was amazing at assisting us on short notice. The house is very well kept and it was a great place to stay for a few days. Will definitely recommend when visiting Marloth park

The house is beautifully situated in the private game estate. The house has everything and more than you need for a perfect bush stay. We really recommend this for a super relaxing time

We had the most wonderful stay at Anthill cottage. It is beautifully situated in the bush and has all the amenities you could wish for. We were well looked after by Lipton and Tuli. The cottage is with easy access to Orpan gate and activities to do in and around Hoedspruit. I can highly recommend a stay at the lovely accommodation

We had a fantastic stay at Mona Cottage. Carmen and Mike are great hosts. Pilgrims Rest is a lovely village and it is so sad that it’s reputation seems to have been tarnished by the Zama Zama activity in the area. They apparently keep to themselves and as two women travelling together we felt perfectly safe in the village and cottage. Unfortunately the village closes down at 4.30pm and so we were not able to eat out for dinner. However, the kitchen at the cottage is very well equipped and we cooked up a storm. I highly recommend Carmen’s place and I encourage people to visit Pilgrims Rest for a few nights.

The place is extremely beautiful, especially the indoor cottage 1 that we had booked inn ❤️. The place is extremely clean, beautiful interior and also the host was very friendly. Definitely coming back to the place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Waterberg Hideaway is an absolute gem. Gracious hosts, beautiful setting, friendly animals. Peace and tranquility. We thoroughly enjoyed the verandah and the amazing boma. We enjoyed walking on the property as well as the visit to the Marakele National Park. The cottage is a beautiful breakaway from the hustle and bustle of life. Sitting outside and just listening to the birds was wonderful. The stars and seeing the milky way was definitely a highlight of our trip. The kitchen is filled with everything one needs and the hot showers were very good. We loved every minute and look forward to returning to enjoy nature in this beautiful setting. The dogs and horses are all so welcoming and calming. Thank you so much.

We really enjoyed our weekend. It was so relaxing to chill in the hammock and watch all the birds and squirrels. Place was well equipped with no less than 3 places to braai. Great location in the quieter part of the reserve but still close enough to the shops and restaurants. Was a bit cold for us to use the pool but we'll be back!

Our stay at Butterfly Cottage was exceptional. The sunsets are breathtaking making it an unforgettable romantic getaway. The cottage is homely and comfortable, with everything you need. Philip's presentation about the stars was informative, comfortable and awe-inspiring. I'm not sure what we enjoyed the most - the pool, the cottage, the tuckshop, the horses, the bushveld, the game drive or the stars. Our stay was so much more than just a weekend getaway, it was an experience of excellence. I highly recommend you do as much as you can, you won't regret it!

Josie is a lovely, communicative host. We checked in later than expected, but Josie made an effort to come and greet us the following day. The location is AMAZING! So peaceful, and we felt right at home. It’s even more special to us now, as we got engaged at this beautiful place, and it will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We definitely recommend Josie’s beautiful cabin to anyone wishing to get away from the norm and unwind. We absolutely plan to be back in the future!

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at the cottage. It's comfortable, equipped with all necessities, and the presence of impalas and wildlife was truly amazing, providing a perfect opportunity to disconnect.

You have to go here, you’ll have no regrets. The host is always responsive, from the day you book to when you leave. They are always willing to help. Its in the bushes, so they also come and check if you’re still fine from time to time. They clean the place every morning and really, that’s just a few of many things they help with. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hidden gem of a cottage, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the serene surroundings and the sense of privacy the location offered. My partner and I had an amazing time there, so peaceful & such breathtaking scenery. There's a forest trail, drinkable streaming water, friendly monkeys who pop by often (just don't leave your food outside lol). Such a perfect place for outdoor people and there's so much to see and explore. Gerrit is such an incredible host, probably the most wonderful we've encountered. Highly recommend this place and when you visit, please do say hi to Pinkie. 100 points for Gerrit!! lol

We booked a 4 nights and 5 day stay at Camille’s place, not only was it worth the price but it was stunning. The park is so beautiful and peaceful. The view is absolutely to die for. Having to stay at a place where animals just roam freely and you can have them come visit in your own backyard was an experience never to be forgotten. There is so much to do in and around the park which means you do not even need to leave the park to do activities.I will definitely be back for another stay.

Simple but perfect for what I needed. The guesthouse is located on a farm with a beautiful garden and mountain behind. Lots of friendly dogs.
