I have to warn you definitely not a hook up spot or party house!!! typically rise with rooster on this 5 acre country setting with a small fishing pond. 420 friendly .. Quiet hours are 11 -8 generally some music playing, musicians are welcome !! if you happen to book on a Sunday i host an Open Mic in my Barn every Sunday ..... pretty relaxed. Upon arriving, turn into the driveway, and then right into the yard. Apartment is upstairs, the door is open with the keys inside. ✌️

Some friends and I just used the cottage to sleep while we attended a larger event nearby. Beds and baths were nice as was the living room and very nice being on the lake. A couple closets and side-rooms had some construction going on (just materials lefts out, maybe slightly drafty), but it didn't take away from the experience.

Diana is a sweet and generous person who was such a gracious host. We used the cozy spot as our refuge during a rough time. It was just perfect. The place was emaculate, the bed comfortable, the bird sounds and neighborhood quiet are lovely. We enjoyed sitting outside drinking our morning coffee. I felt at home. We had a great stay at Shawn’s place in Manteno, Illinois. The area was very peaceful and perfect for a family trip. My husband and kids went bike riding and took nice walks around the neighborhood. It felt very safe and quiet, which made it easy to relax. The house was clean, bright, and had everything we needed. It was cozy and welcoming from the moment we walked in. One of our favorite parts was watching the sunset through the big windows during dinner. The golden rays made everything feel warm and calm. There was plenty of space for our family, and we felt right at home. The beds were comfy, and the kitchen had everything ready to cook a good meal. It was a refreshing break from our busy lives. We would love to come back again one day!

Kelly's place is wonderful - very homey and relaxing. Our family gathered at Kelly's place from around the midwest (Chicago, Milwaukee, Detroit and Cincinnati) to attend a Purdue Football game. The kitchen is amazing. The sleeping accomodations were perfect - very comfortable. Everything was clean. I would use Kelly's place again. Plenty of room for everyone. I felt like I was in a friend's home - so welcoming.
