When we arrived to Corner Retreat the sun was streaming in and we got to enjoy the lovely deck with views of the mountains. It was just dreamy! Super tidy and tastefully decorated, double glazing and heat pump kept us toasty even as it got to -6 overnight!! Felt very private even though it was in a residential area.

This place is a must stay! The bath outside under the stars is incredible, the quiet peaceful location is just what you need for an escape. Robyn and Dan were excellent hosts, quick to respond, had lots of local recommendations, and they made us feel very welcome. The house was very clean, had every amenity we needed, the softest bathrobes, and the welcome champagne paired nicely with a bath under the stars. This stay was the start of our anniversary trip around New Zealand and it was the perfect start to our trip!
