Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Lisbon

My family and I had a great time in the apartment, which was nice, comfortable and had everything you could wish for. The patio was fantastic to have, especially with our soon-to-be 2-year-old daughter. We set the table for breakfast, sunbathed and read while she took her nap and spent an evening there. Next time, we'll bring a small pool for her so she can swim when it's hottest. Because now we played with the water hose, which was also a hit. The apartment was up on a hill and I would say that it took us about 15-20 minutes to walk to e.g. the times market, or 15 minutes to the nice park Jardim de Estrela. The area was quiet with a few restaurants and small grocery stores nearby. We are happy about our stay with José and will gladly come back!

This place was perfect. Joao was such a gracious and hospitable host. We only stayed one night, but would recommend his apartment for a longer stay in Lisbon. Great location and all the amenities you need. Thank you, Joao!

Cosy and bright apartment in nice local residential neighbourhood away from crowded and touristy center. Calm street. Shops, restaurants, bars and good atmosphere around the corner. Metro Alvalade 5 minutes walking from the apartment. Direct metro to the center. Spacious well equipped kitchen. We were a bit late for check-out but they didn't made a problem out of it. We will come stay there again for sure!

apartment was well placed and within easy distance of good restaurants and things to do. we were very lucky with the weather so barely spent any time in the accommodation. We were fortunate to be able to have all meals out but the kitchen had everything you would need to cook. Great shower and comfortable bed with lots of storage.

Bertina was a wonderful host and we really enjoyed our stay in her apartment. It was close by everything you needed, market, restaurants, parks, bars, etc. Fun and lively neighborhood. The apartment had everything we needed to enjoy. Thanks again for the stay Bertina!

What a wonderful place, what wonderful people, what a place and wonderful location. Silencio, tranquility, cozy. Dna Ricarda and his Mother Dna Jacinta. Next to it had a wonderful lunch at the Recreational Society, and there we met the managers of the place, Ana and Sandra. Wonderful service and wonderful food. I remembered my grandfather for the food he served. Note 1000.

Absolutely perfect for a couple looking to explore Lisbon. Great location (only 5/10 minute walk to the centre, but tucked away so you’re not disturbed by too much noise or tourists. There are some really good restaurants and bars nearby too. The apartment is small and could probably do with one extra cabinet or table to put your stuff/bags, but honestly for 3/4 days this place is the best!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jose's place. He welcomed us when we arrived and gave us recommendations. He always answered our questions and was proactive . The apartment is even better than the photos. It is well located in a quiet area and not too far from tourist areas.

We had a lovely stay in Alges Village, Alexandra and her husband were extremely welcoming and helpful. A wonderful quiet safe place that makes you feel at home. Everything was clean and beautiful. Close proximity to city of lisbon and activities restaurants and sights. 100% recommend to anybody looking to stay in a sweet location and casa. Will be back!

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

Maria's house is very nicely furnished and very clean. We felt very comfortable. We had everything we needed on site. Maria welcomed us personally and gave us great recommendations for the surrounding area. She ist very friendly! The house is in a quiet location and in just a few minutes by car you can be on the picturesque coast with breathtaking views of the sea. A visit is highly recommended!

Everything about our stay was great. We had a friendly welcome with great recommendations. We even loved enough to stay again. The location, host, atmosphere were amazing. We had an incredible stay, thank you Catarina! The place is very quiet - we stayed during Lisbon's saint's festival which was very busy right outside but somehow still quiet in the apartment. The electric blinds are great for locking out noise and light + the apartment is hidden on a hill away from the street. The outdoor space & pool was ideal for us too. The location is great and the indoors was very nice, spacious and clean. We would love to stay again. Catarina's communication was excellent and we were allowed to check out a little late to accommodate our flights. She also provided a cot and high chair for our baby. Highly recommend!

Maria was the best host and offered exceptional hospitality during check-in with an infant. The place was walking distance to a nearby center with food and 20 minutes from the main center that home was clean and beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

Paolo made our stay very enjoyable. He is the best host. Super responsive and went above and beyond to get us into the apt early. Great location-extremely close to everything. Very walkable and convenient. Great space for a larger group with 4 bedrooms. 2 bathrooms and a very large comfortable living room. And if you are a tv person-biggest tv I’ve ever seen. Also extra shoutout to Luan who checked us in at the property-super nice person and graciously came extremely early well ahead of check in time to accommodate our group. I can’t wait to come back.

Carlos' place was very spacious and had everything my family needed. The location was very convenient for us as you can enter the building from the main street rather than having to walk further into the Alfama streets. The place is also beside some really excellent restaurants!

Everything was wonderful, the location, the accommodation and the host. Ling was very kind at all times, giving very useful recommendations. When we return to Lisbon, we will definitely repeat.

Staying at Heinz's place was like “being at home.” In more than two months of stay, I appreciated the comfort of a large, comfortable house with a private garden!! Corroios is a quiet town but offers all the services. It may seem far from the center but, trust it is among the most connected in Margem Sul! You'll be spoiled for choice in which way to use! The Fertagus, a 10-minute walk (2 minutes by tram) takes you to Lisbon by passing the 25 de Abril Bridge. My favorite way was the tram (directly under the house, at all times, every 7-9 minutes - Casa do Povo station). When you arrive in Cacilhas (which I loved for the evocative sunsets at the Final Bridge) ferry to Cais do Sodré, and in less than 10 minutes you will be in the heart of Lisbon! Discovering the surroundings of Corroios (Almada, Costa da Caparica, Setubàl) has also allowed me to experience the least touristy part of Portugal, the one that made me fall in love with this country! Go to Heinz's place, you won't regret it.

Beautifully furnished flat and very clean! Key transfer was well organised. Lots of parking nearby! And nearby are several supermarkets. Public transport to the centre of Lisbon is good to do. On my next visit to Lisbon I will definitely book this flat again.
