Holiday houses in Little Darby Island

We had such a wonderful experience at Cameron’s place. Check in was very smooth. The house is lovely, well-equipped, and in such a convenient location. Just as described, it’s a short walk to the beach and pool. Hooper’s Bay is so beautiful and the pool was fantastic. Since Cameron wasn’t on the island, Rob made sure we had everything we needed. He was terrific. We were very well cared for. I would absolutely book this house again on future trips.

Our stay at Alastacias and Shenekas place was absolutely perfect! The rental was spotless, comfortable, and in a great location. The beach was really beautiful with literally nobody else there. Both ladies went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, offering great recommendations and thoughtful hospitality. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed our stay at Glenroy’s place in Exuma. Very responsive and helpful. A rental car is a necessity since the location is a 15min drive from town and the Airbnb is in a secluded area

We enjoyed our stay at Tamara & Dallas's apartment. It was very cosy and Tamara ensured that there was everything there a guest might need to have a very comfortable stay. Plenty of towels, kitchen and bathroom essentials provided, allocated parking, etc. Tamara was also very responsive and promptly answered all our questions. Though the pool area was not usable at the time, there is a most amazing beach nearby (Jolly Hall) and we often had it all to ourselves. There were so many other beaches and places around Great Exuma and we truly had a fantastic time. The apartment was an easy drive from George Town and the shops, but having a car is essential. We would happily return and stay in Percy's Perch again.

YES YES YES Final stop on our honeymoon, saved the best until last. My wife walked in, the place was amazing. My wife opened the patio doors, the view was even better. Major husband points!! Direct on the beach, common to see literally no one on the beach all day - perfect if you want a quiet getaway. Hired a car from Avie, did us perfectly for exploring the island. Exactly what we needed. He gave us local tips on where to go, such as Stocking Island to feed the Stingray and organised a full day boat trip with us from a company he trusts which gave us the most amazing memories of swimming with sharks, pigs, swimming in James Bond Thunderball Grotto and petting Iguanas as well as seeing a sunken drug plane of Pablo Escobar and seeing turtles en route. Avie’s local knowledge and advance guide brochure which he sent to us digitally was so helpful too. Thank you Avie for the perfect end to our honeymoon.

Gary was a very hospitable and friendly host. The unit was exactly as described. The lane from the main road to the rental could use some work but this is not Gary's responsibility. The area was very private and well kept. There was an outside hose that we could use to rinse off beach sand and salt water. Very nice deck with a couple of chairs. Heat pump in the unit was very good at cooling down the lower level however, the loft bedroom took a bit longer to reach a comfortable temp. The kitchen is small but very functional. Lots of water pressure and hot water. We only had the large front (garage style) door opened once due to the wind but I can imagine that the large screened opening would be great on evenings with just a little breeze. A very short walk to a beautiful beach. We were there the last of March (2025) and the first week in April and it was a bit windy with high surf while we were there but you can't control the weather. We had the beach to ourselves for the most part.

Stay was wonderful, very easy to get ahold of. Directions were quite easy to follow, however they did remove one sign from the road (the last one we needed to see where to turn lol) so I would just say look for the med plaza instead! :)

We both cannot say enough about Carmela. We check out many Airbnb sites. This was an important trip as it was our honeymoon! From the moment we signed up, our communication with Carmela was fabulous. From the very beginning, she was helpful. She was thorough, very friendly and even supportive with our circumstances. Upon arrival, everything was as expected with great care from our hosts all the way to great information and clear instructions on what to do on the island and where to go when we were uncertain. The house itself felt like home, super clean very accommodating., and she provided everything that you would need to have an incredible stay. I’ll be honest I had my doubts coming here, but I know for certain when we come back to visit the island the only place we will be staying is with Carmela. Carmela thank you for giving us incredible forever memories! We will always remember starting off our new marriage together and celebrating our honeymoon with you in EXUMA !!
