A Slice of Paradise: Bowers Beach

Please note: We require guests to book the total amount of persons staying as we charge per-guest. We do not have a TV and our home is not suitable for unsupervised young children. Between Whitwell’s Delight and Bowers Beach Road, across from the old Tuthill Brothers Farm, we have a quiet space that is perfect for up to eight people to feel at home; great for couples or a tight-knit group of friends or family. We also have records, board games and puzzles to enhance the feeling of a cozy stay.

Beach Highway Hobby Farm

We are a hobby farm with pygmy goats and free-range hens located along Beach Highway near Greenwood, Delaware, in the heart of the Mennonite Community (not to be confused with the Amish). We are centrally located in southern Delaware with many attractions within easy driving distance: Rehoboth Beach (35 minutes) Delaware State Fairgrounds (10 minutes) Dover Downs/Firefly (30 minutes) Ocean City, MD (50 minutes) Cape May/Lewes Ferry Terminal (30 minutes) DE Turf Sports Complex (20 minutes)

15 minutes from Dover Nearby casinos, beaches, and the racetrack. Bowers and Slaughter beaches are about 10-15 mins from us, whereas, the major beaches like Rehoboth, Lewes and Dewey are 45mins to an hour from us. We are 5 mins from Highway 1 and located 15 mins from DE Sports Complex 10 mins from Highway 13 (Dupont Ave) Near the mall, casino, racetrack, shopping, and many restaurants. Killens Pond State Park is a 10 min drive. Harrington Casino the Del. State Fair is 15 mins from us.

The Barn

Welcome to the Barn. It can host up to 4 guests. The bedroom is private with a queen size bed, a closet and a tv. In the living room there is a sleeper sofa that converts to a queen size bed. The living room tv can be enjoyed throughout as the space is open. Step out onto the porch and enjoy the sunrise in the morning and the horses throughout the day. The barn is only 35 miles to the beaches and only 12 miles to DE Turf. Within 1 mile you will find stores, dog parks and playgrounds.

This centrally located, clean, 2nd floor apartment in our home is the perfect place to rest. Features very large bedroom with a new king bed with a hybrid mattress, and spacious living room with a queen size pull out couch. Well equipped kitchen with toaster oven, electric skillet, countertop burner, microwave, and coffee makers. Only 3 mi. to DE Turf, 15 mi. to Dover, and 30 mi. to the beaches! There are open stairs, so not appropriate for small children. Well-behaved pets welcome.

THE RIVER HOUSE @ DE TURF ! 6 bedrooms and 3 full baths, this home accommodates large groups traveling to Delaware Turf for soccer, lacrosse and field hockey tournaments. Four living areas and a central kitchen, multiple families can use this home at the same time. 2 sets of bunks in each bunk room! The river view is outstanding from the picture window in the family room! This home is less than a mile from the turf fields and 30 minutes to the resort beaches!

Charming Historical Red Roof Home

Charming home close to the DE Truf fields and 40 minutes to the Delaware beaches, Lewes, Rehoboth and Dewey Beach. This charming house is two main bedrooms and bath on the second floor. Then a living room with TV(Amazon fire stick ), Kitchen and a open space room for reading with two love seats. On site parking is available and on the street parking is available as well. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay on the farm. You will see horses, cows, goats, chickens & ducks. Family friendly. Animals roam the property & are safe to pet. You will hear many farm noises such as roosters crowing, cows mooing & more. This home is located in the country & a min of 5 miles from stores and shopping. Full kitchen, 1 full bathroom & 1 queen bed included. Upon request Queen Air Mattress or Twin Bed can be provided.
