Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Lixouri

Myself and my partner recently stayed here and what an amazing place it is. The villa itself is just like the pictures and is a secure gated and private place to spend a holiday relaxing and enjoying Kefalonia. It is only 20 minutes from the main city Argostoli and just up the road is supermarkets and restaurants. It is also very close to multiple beaches. It has some great views of the sea, Zakynthos and the mountains. It was spotless and had great facilities throughout ( fast WiFi, Netflix, multiple sun loungers, bbq area, perfect clean pool etc ) The hosts Anastasios and his sister Marilena were very welcoming upon arrival and showed us around the villa. They also left some local snacks/wine and provided us with recommendations for the island. They were also quick to respond to any queries. Overall we had a brilliant stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place. We will definitely be looking to stay here again when we return to Kefalonia!

We could not have enjoyed Octupus’s Garden more! There were three of us and the house was perfect in every way. Dionysia and her brother Dimitri were so lovely and accommodating . The location was perfect- could easily walk everywhere in town. Having two bathrooms with 3 people was a big plus. The place was super clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. I highly recommend their place and Boulevard boats … 5 stars all around

Lovely house in perfect location (beach and Argostoli center within 5-10min walk) and amazing facilities - kitchen and bathroom amenities, jakuzi on the rooftop, even cards and little games to play in the evening. Very clean as well. Dennis was so kind and always available to help us :) 10/10 recommended

If you have any doubts about renting this property, forget them!! world travellers & hands down the loveliest air bnb I've been in. Extremely clean, well maintained - just BEAUTIFUL. Exactly like the photos. The family have poured alot of love into the properties. We had the BEST trip & that's just the location and property. Add to that the wonderful family that host, they are kind, generous, communicative and honestly so lovely...like staying with family. I got emotional when we had to leave 😭. They left fresh eggs, bread,wine, olive oil, jams, honey etc. Great equipped kitchen & bbq area. After a day out we found beautiful cakes had been left in the fridge after they came to do pool maintenance. After hearing we had a bad time at a cafe they cheered us up with kebabs, fresh pittas & sausages from their butchers. So delicious!! This is a hilly area, if you have mobility issues check out their other beautiful property which also looks amazing. We will be back!Thank you so much guys!!

We spent an amazing ten days at this lovely property. It took us by surprise on arrival, photos really don’t do it justice. The rear is nicely enclosed, and the front overlooks an olive grove. The garden around the property itself has an olive tree, several fruit trees, flowers and even a couple of tortoises. 🐢 Some local products were left in the kitchen for us when we arrived, always helpful! The area is not touristy at all, which we liked, but a car is essential if you want to explore the island properly. Good central location. There is on street park close by. Would definitely stay here again! 💙🇬🇷

Honestly, I have never felt so at home in a different country. The space is incredible and both Christos and his father were very welcoming. His father has a little gardening plot next door and gave us fresh zucchini’s and cucumbers one evening whilst we were barbecuing. I honestly did not want to leave but it was the only two days that were available. I will make sure I book further in advance next time so that we can stay for longer! Additional bonus was that there is now a sea kayak that I got to take my boyfriend out on this morning which made my week watching him navigate through the clear waters whilst I snorkelled around. An absolute gem of a place and cannot recommend enough. Thanks so much for having us 🩷

This was the perfect holiday home. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the infinity pool was perfect and used every day. Relaxing on the sun beds and reading our books with a panoramic view of the sea was perfect. Although our stay was only a week, the villa was cleaned and all towels replaced half way through our stay. Pool towels were provided and good quality shampoo and shower gel in the bathrooms. The air con was efficient and quiet. Gerasimo was the perfect host, responding to any queries efficiently and pleasantly. We appreciated the welcome gifts and especially the delicious baklava baked by Gerasimo's wife and delivered on our last day. Kefalonia is a beautiful island and this was the perfect villa to enjoy it from.

We had a lovely stay, the place was exactly as we’d hoped, clean, free of clutter and with a great view. Hosts were very friendly, gave us loads of recommendations and invited us to message any time if we needed anything. Friendly housekeeper came by each day to do the bins, clean towels if needed etc, which was very appreciated. It was about a 20 minute walk into the centre of Argostoli, those with mobility issues may struggle due to the hills but you can drive there in a matter of minutes. Would definitely stay again if we come back!

Our stay in Kefalonia was made truly special thanks to our wonderful host, Elvira. From the moment we arrived, Elvira greeted us with such warmth and kindness. She made sure we were comfortable, gave us great local tips, and was always happy to help with anything we needed. The home was lovely, clean, and perfectly located for exploring the island. We’re so grateful for her hospitality and would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Kefalonia. Thank you again, Elvira! we hope to come back one day!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The entire property is designed with luxury and comfort in mind – from the elegant interior to the excellent service. One of the highlights was the beautiful and well-maintained pool area, perfect for relaxing. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it ideal for anyone who enjoys cooking even while on vacation. Despite the luxurious features, the hotel is located in a very quiet and peaceful area – perfect for rest and relaxation. A true hidden gem for those who value style, tranquility, and top-quality amenities. We would love to come back!

Christina and her parents are kind and generous hosts, providing basic provisions and gifts of home-grown pomegranates and eggs from their own hens. The apartment was light, airy and well furnished, with good bed linen and plenty of towels, loo roll, shower gel, etc. Good light-excluding shutters and quiet, efficient air con. The gardens are pretty and well-maintained with seating in sun or shade, as preferred. Attractively lit in the evenings. The views of the sea and mountains are stunning from dual aspect balconies, which are in sunshine all day long. 10 minute walk to the sea and nearest tavernas. Narrow beaches are stony but accessible. 5 minute drive to pretty port of Sami with small supermarkets, shops and many bars and tavernas. Ferries to Ithaca and mainland. No sandy beaches locally. However, the sea is beautifully clear.

We spent 1 week in 'Eleni's House.' The apartment is on the first floor with its own entrance. The landlords (= Alexia's parents) live upstairs. The apartment is well equipped - e.g. a fully equipped kitchen where you can also cook 'properly.' If something is missing, you just have to let them know. There is a large terrace for sitting outside. The house is located on a small hill, 5 minutes' walk from Xi beach with numerous beautiful beach bars and restaurants (e.g. Antonello's Grill) and yet seems rural through the large garden with olive trees, grapes and cackling chickens. What makes it special, however, are Jorgos and Eleni, who take care of their guests with a lot of genuine warmth - always a nice conversation or small touches (grapes from the garden, homemade cake, etc.) and even an invitation to the family barbecue. It was our first stay in Kefalonia - Eleni and Jorgos made it special. Thank you!!

Antonis and his place are a delight in every way - perfect location, stunning view, comfortable, immaculately clean, peaceful, could not ask for a kinder, more responsive, and thoughtful host who went out of his way to care for guests. We loved our stay in this beautiful apartment in Agia effimia. The apartment was perfect and so well set up with everything you could possibly need. The view from the balcony was amazing and the space is so big. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance. We found getting a street park easy (it was end of season). Konstantinos gave us some great restaurant suggestions and gave us a really helpful explanation of everything in the apartment. We were so thankful for the welcome gift of wine, fruit and the most delicious almonds. The apartment is very large and we found we had so much space for our family of 4 and you could easily have 2 couples and all have room. We found the location a great spot to explore kefelonia (which is so very beautiful). Thank you so much for making our trip so memorable.

Beautiful studio, fully equipped and comfortable. I loved the location: it’s a bit on the edge of the village and very peaceful, but you can walk to the restaurants and supermarkets. Amazing sunrises over the sea from the balcony. I’ll come back here next time I’m in kephalonia. Warmly recommended!

Having never been to Kefalonia before, my partner and I had some initial trepidation in coming here for our holiday. We were aware that it was a fairly big island and wanted to get a rental car in order to travel around. George gave us a trusted and affordable car rental company who met us at the airport which completely took stress out of the whole process. George met us outside the flat and instantly made us feel welcome. He sat us both down and gave us some ideas for things to do around the island as well as some very good local restaurant recommendations which we took full advantage of. He lived just across the hall but we didn’t hear a peep from him until it was time to leave. George had also stocked the fridge with water and supplied us with enough coffee to last us our whole stay, and some (it was great coffee). We will miss both George and Kefalonia and hope to be back soon, what a place.

We were welcomed by Marina who was very helpful, informative and available at all times. The pool was beautifully clean and the water was warm for early June. Marina kindly brought us breakfast of a drink and croissant on our first morning which was very unexpected but appreciated! We would recommend Eagle Nest Studios for a stay in Lourdata.

Joy is absolutely an amazing host! She was so warm and welcoming it really felt like I was visiting family. Her property is breath taking all around. Favorite things include: The air conditioner working exceptionally well after a hot day outside lol. The view was spectacular and the pool was gorgeous. Breakfast was delicious! The property is close enough to a small mini market as well as the beach and all the beach side restaurants. Joy ordered laundry service for a small cost that was greatly appreciated! Daily room cleaning and fresh linens. The property was quiet and peaceful!

We had such a relaxing and peaceful stay. The apartment was cozy, comfortable, and without any trouble. The black out blind is fantastic... Didn't know if it was night or day and made afternoon naps a "dream!" The landscape was beautiful and pool was divine! After traveling around the island (which was so easy with a rental car), we loved the southern location of Spartia the most! However, Asos is a stunning sight to see as well. It was great being able to take a short 10min walk to the center of Spartia with a couple of well stocked small grocery stores, 2 wonderful coffee shops, and restaurant. Overall, the location was absolutely what we hoped for! Paola was so kind; she met us with a big smile and all of the details we needed. Any questions we sent during our stay were responded to almost instantly. We would certainly recommend staying and hopefully will have the opportunity to stay again ourselves! Gary & Ray
