The Hideaway at Glanrhyd House

PeteRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and met us on arrival to show us around, they even lent us a coat for a boat trip at New Quay as one of ours had a tear in it. The space was very well kept and well furnished and we loved how many eco-friendly items were used. The location is remote and very peaceful which is exactly what we wanted. We had full access to the garden which was really beautiful and very rich in wildlife and we saw many red kites soaring overhead. Overall we loved our stay here and would fully recommend it to anyone who is after a peaceful time away, especially nature lovers.

Riverside meadow glamping (Kingfisher)

FionaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great time camping at Kingfisher with our 5 and 7 year old - kids and adults alike loved the space. The surroundings are beautiful, there’s all the amenities you could need and the children loved having space to play football all evening long. We had a brilliant weekend and would absolutely love to do it again sometime!

Cosy Cottage in a Beautiful Welsh Valley

EmmaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A lovely few day stay in a very rural location but good access to all the key places we wanted to visit. Cottage was clean and toasty warm. We enjoyed the enclosed garden for the dogs and being able to be in nature with the woodland walk. Lovely to see lambs in the field. Games room was fun and if you had bad weather could be used more. Good communication.

Traditional Welsh cottage in the Welsh Countryside

SandyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely, restful stay with or lab-mix dog. The cottage had everything we needed. Our only issue was the space-saver stairs to the loft. They were difficult to get luggage up and our dog couldn't get up them. The site was beautiful and we spent a few afternoons just relaxing in our private garden while our dog ran around it exploring. As an amateur photographer, the site was perfect. With little light pollution, I got to try a little astrophotography! Aberystwyth was a 20 minute drive away and had a great beaches and a lot to see. We also did some day trips to Devil's Bridge, the Hafod Estate, Teifi Marshes, Bodnant Gardens and Dinefwr House & Castle. One caution, don't always follow your satnav. We often got sent to "unnamed road" and ended up on narrow tracks for miles. We tried to stick to just A and B roads after that! Thanks for being a lovely host and hostess!

Lovers’ Retreat … Simple and Romantic.

CarolynRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Maggie's place was so peaceful, especially after the traffic and seagull noise of Aberystwyth. Here you could hear the cry of the red kite snd see one too if you are lucky! Maggie's place had everything we needed, even space for our push bikes. The area is quiet for cycling, but the beautiful hills that surround the property are hard work, slightly easier if you are walking, but still hilly! The lake really can be seen from throughout the property and looks lovely in the evening sun. We didn't use the car during our stay, but Devil's Bridge is just a short drive away and Aberystwyth is handy for supermarkets and other shopping. If you are after peace and quiet you can certainly find it here.
