Cottage holiday rentals in Llanberis

We loved our stay at Nimah's airbnb "The Piggery" it was great to switch off and enjoy the surroundings, and we had good weather for 90% of the stay which made it even better. The location was ideal and the views from the property were amazing, especially during dusk. There were lots of useful things within the Piggery and the hosts seem to have thought of everything to make you stay relaxing ,including a great selection of dvds and games.We done a lot of walking during our stay and highlights included walking into to Llangollen via the canal path and visiting horseshoe falls and the surrounding area. Lots of places to eat including the Bridgend hotel in the town centre and returning to relax in the hot tub with the views was really nice We would definitely return and stay again at the Piggery, Nimah was an attentive but not intrusive host, and we wish her well with the upcoming addition to her family

This was our second stay in Sarnau and we enjoyed our four nights as much as our first visit. The property is just lovely. In a beautiful location. Peaceful but easy to get to places. It’s extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean and with fabulous hosts where nothing is too much trouble. We find it a great location to do lots in the area and this time we visited the coast twice which is less than an hour away. Highly recommend and we hope to be back.

We loved our stay with Nick and Charlotte. They were very helpful and made us feel very at home in beautiful surroundings. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub after a long walk in the mountains!

Had the best stay, beautiful place Andrew had thought of absolutely everything and more. Everything clean tidy and very comfortable would definately recommend. And to top it all off the hot tub was so relaxing

We stayed with our baby and 3 dogs. Lovely cosy cottage with everything we needed, including high chair and books/toys. Perfect location and beautiful surroundings. Paul was great to chat to and gave good local reccomendations for dog walks, beaches and places to eat. Hot tub was ideal as well!! Would recommend

Perfect private piece of heaven in North Wales ideal for couples looking to get away for a few nights. June is an excellent host; very warm, welcoming and cool. She introduced us to the property and herself and then left us to ourselves. June lives in the property next door and offered to provide any assistance if we needed it but also respected our privacy and only came onto the property once a day to check the hot tub (always when we were out). As a gay couple June felt safe and welcoming as a host. The building is a converted barn with lots of original features but was modern, clean and warm. The views from the private back garden are spectacular. Sitting in the hot tub at night under the stars was a highlight. Nebo is a quiet and peaceful part of the world to slow down in. Cannot recommend this property enough and will definitely visit again when we need some time away from the rat race. Bravo June!

Lovely cottage in beautiful and very peaceful location. Everything is just as advertised. The only thing is that the address of the place provided by Airbnb led us to a totally different place and it was not easy for us to regroup and finally find the right location with the help of Peter’s instructions. So, the place itself is perfectly wonderful, just make sure not to follow Airbnb instructions to find it. Contact the host right away.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay at Capel Bach. Olwen is an excellent host making sure we were all ok during our stay and had thought of everything we might need. We loved the cosy converted chapel in an excellent location. We hope to return.

We stayed here three for nights. It's a really nice traditional cottage, with modern features making for a very pleasent stay. Jason the host was very informative and was easily contactable if needed. The cottage is set within in a small, quiet hamlet of houses, and is a short, several minute drive to Bangor. We would definitely stay here again. Thank for a lovely stay.

Just returned home after a lovely week at Blacksmiths Cottage. Cottage was lovely and clean and very comfortable. Great location for visiting Anglesey. Lovely walk from the cottage to Plas Newyd House. Shall definitely return.

We had a lovely stay at Simon’s beautiful cottage. The bed was really comfy and there was no external noise (apart from the sheep!). It was such a peaceful few days and perfect for us with our 7 month old daughter and dog. The cottage is set on the hillside with stunning panoramic views. The garden is fenced all the way round and there’s a perfectly placed bench to watch the sunset. The interior was kitted out to a high standard and had all the basics you would need. Simon was very friendly and offered some great local recommendations. We will definitely be back one day to visit again - thank you!

Absolutely stunning place! I booked it for the view, but the entire surrounds of the place are beautiful! Feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, with just rolling hills. Was hard to find with the instructions given, but Emily was on the phone to give me a hand. The barn itself is gorgeous, the big window is amazing. I had the double doors open most of the time. I loved the solitude, and can't wait to come back 😊

Gorgeous cosy cottage. Really spacious and in a stunning location. We sat in the garden on the bench and had breakfast with a lush view of snowdon! Everything was very clean and comfy. The local pub does absolutely amazing food which is just walking distance away! Would definitely recommend and revisit.

Ship Cottage was the perfect base camp for exploring North Wales and Yr Eryri with lots of places to visit within a 30 minute driving radius. Basil was a great host, very responsive and accommodating. Ship Cottage had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay and was exactly as described. We would definitely return and would highly recommend.

Paradise indeed! Beautiful cottage in stunning surroundings. Wonderfully peaceful for 4 day’s stay whilst working at the race circuit 15 minutes away in exceptionally comfy and cosy surroundings. Bed was comfortable, the shower fabulous and the kitchen came with everything you need. Karen and Dave were fabulous hosts and I wouldn’t hesitate to return when next in the area. Thank you both!

A great base from which to explore Anglesey. The cottage is in a great location and had everything we needed to feel at home for a cosy stay. Phil was a great host, very friendly and helpful with his recommendations. He even went above and beyond by sending tide times and traffic updates following check out. Would certainly recommend and stay again.

We had a lovely few days at Mison’s place. A really comfortable, spotless cottage with a fantastic view over the sea. The deck area is super and perfect relaxing or watching the sunset. Mison had left helpful local information, which made our stay even better by enjoying local eateries. We would all happily return to explore the area further. Thank you Mison.

We stayed as a group of 3 adults, a 9 year old & a toddler. The cottage was perfect - spacious enough for us all whilst having everything we needed. The toddler had (on request) a cot & high chair and there were plenty of age appropriate toys to keep him busy. There are also modern TVs & Wi-Fi to keep the older child happy when we had some down time. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook & serve a family meal. The place just felt like home to us. Washing machine was a great plus given the amount of clothes the kids got through! The garden is incredible and we spent many hours with the kids sitting and playing. The view is amazing. Overall location for us was perfect. 10 mins to the beech, the nearest town & shops. 30 mins gets you to the other touristy places such as Portmerion, Snowden National Park and Anglesey. We could have easily spent another week just exploring areas within a 30/40 mins gets you drive. Hosts were loverly, helpful and overall I would 100% recommend

What a heavenly home. Stunning views of the estuary. This is the second time we have stayed. We loved it so much we came back. Would highly recommend.
