the place was very cosy, private, clean and for us perfectly located everything we needed was a short 10-20mins car ride. the host was very responsive and helpful, the terrace was the best part for us. A big plus was the breakfast bits they left for us it was really helpful for our short stay not having to worry about buying big packs. it has everything you would need for a short term stay. the only "downside" the little fridge is super tiny we managed to fit 2 meal deal sandwiches that we wanted cool for the hike and that was it, granted they didn't advertise the fridge on the posting hence the "downside" over all I would definitely go back and recommend this place.

We stayed for one night on Buzzard for my husbands birthday. We absolutely loved it. Check in was super easy and the boat was lovely and warm for our arrival. The shop with the DVDs was great however if you do pick a DVD make sure you check the disc is in there! We picked Seven to watch and when we opened the case no DVD! I would imagine that this is down to another guest not putting it back in the right box. It didn't affect our stay we thought it was quite funny. The TV is smart so we watched it on prime instead. The DVD pick was more a nostalgia thing for us! The boat is so beautiful and cosy the log burner really warmed things up fast and all the amenities were perfect. We would definitely stay again!

Our host was super helpful, lots of useful tips and local information. Lots of good quality independent eateries in the village all within easy walking distance. The kitchen was well equipped and bathroom had lovely big shower enclosure with great water pressure, which is always a bonus. A cute period cottage with bags of character! We couldn’t park directly outside on the street due to double yellow lines and narrow road, but had no difficulty parking within 50m each time we returned to the house. One point to note: the bathroom is downstairs and the staircase is interesting, so not ideal for someone who is likely find it difficult to go up and down stairs multiple times at night. Have already recommended to friends and family and would be happy to stay again when visiting the area. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Victoria & Craig have re-written the rulebook when it comes to hosting. Both were very very friendly and welcoming upon arrival. Nothing was too much trouble and every single detail you can think of was covered. The cabin was extremely well appointed in beautiful, peaceful, and very private surroundings! Everything was immaculate, it was impossible to believe that someone had stayed in it just before we arrived. Although completely left to our own devices the welcome pack, instruction book and decor made you feel like they were there to make sure you were having a good time. An extremely professional, beautiful and well run setup from two lovely people! Can’t wait to come back! Love to the Alpacas aswell!!
