Dan y Coed means 'under the trees'. Our cottage has nestled under the wooded hillside of Tan yr Allt for 200 years. The cottage is on the outskirts of Llanidloes, a 10 minute walk to town. We pride ourselves on guest satisfaction and the cottage is equipped to a high standard. We welcome all people and well behaved pets (downstairs). It is located in beautiful upland Montgomeryshire mountain on the eastern escarpment of Bryn y fan on the Cambrian Mountains and has spectacular 35 mile views down the Trannon & Severn Valleys with distant mountains cradling the view, situated at 1100 feet. A lovely old renovated cottage with inglenook fireplace, wood burning stove and mezzanine. It is well equipped for your stay as I have tried to make it a home from home for you with many books and houseplants. There will always be some welcome goodies and you can sleep in snuggly beds made up with 100% cotton or organic cotton sheets and feather and down duvets. The cottage is situated in the pretty wooded Dulas valley near the historic town of Machynlleth, close to Snowdonia and the sea.
