I cannot overstate how amazing this place is. I was looking for an escape into the woods and it was exactly what I wanted. The setting of the cottage is stunning, right on the river and surrounded by trees. It feels remote, even though it's only a short walk into the village. The welcome was really friendly, you can tell that the owners are very active in their community and have put together loads of local info. I particularly liked the map of the community forrest which made me feel confident enough to explore walks by myself. The cottage itself is beautifully kept, with everything that you need, and then some. I didn't want to leave.

Emma was a fantastic host! Her house was amazing and we felt right at home! She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and we even had some little extras like access to the garden and a late check out. We want to come back as soon as we can! A perfect weekend away with our best friends and kids. 🥰😍

Was a great place to stay when we visited the Urdd Eisteddfod which was held in Margam Park this year. The house was very clean and Yan was very easy to get in touch with if we required anything. We have 4 young children, who loved the added bonus of the toys that were in the house. Everything you would need for a short stay was in the house. Thank you 😊

We stayed at the annexe with our 3 and 6 years old. The apartment was clean, spacious enough for us, and had all what we needed. We used every day the shared facilities (swimming pool, tennis court, trampoline, table tennis, foosball) and we often had these only for us, although we were there during easter time. These were very useful with the kids, at the end of the day or if it was raining. Apartment and facilities are not brand new, but everything is working well and well maintained.

Wonderful place and fantastic hosts which made everyone feel so welcome and were brilliant at communicating with us. Location is perfect to walk to the pubs in Cowbridge then is perfect for a quiet nights sleep just away from the main high street. We will certainly be back! Thanks so much :)

Such a lovely place for our multigenerational family to enjoy the long weekend together. The highlights were definitely the pool and the large lounge where we spent lots of time together but didn't feel ontop of each other! Richard's excellent communication added to the overall positive experience. We highly recommend this cottage!

Stayed here for four nights with my family and it was the perfect escape from the city! Peaceful and beautiful scenery from every corner of the house. Everything we needed right on the property including clean heated pool and paddle facilities. It was such a relaxing and refreshing stay and our host Jamie was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout. If you’re looking for a quiet, nature filled retreat this place is exactly what you need.

We had a beautiful stay. Can't recommend this place enough. It's very spacious and clean, with beautiful views of the ocean. Oliver was a an amazing communicator and made us feel very at home! We will be coming back.

Our stay at Station Lodge was nothing short of exceptional. From the friendly welcome message at check-in to the cozy, impeccably clean rooms, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. Ceri has provided lovely fresh bread, milk and butter kn arrival. My favourite place was the garden. The morning sun shines on the terrace, very relaxing to sit outside with your morning coffee. The train runs behind the lodge however not cause any bother at all.We’ll definitely be back—and recommending it to all our friends! Thank you for everything ❤️

Cute, clean and beautiful surroundings. Really good location right next to the M4 and a supermarket just across the road. Host was always very responsive and super friendly.

Beautiful, quirky cottage in a great spot with lovely garden and stream. We had an amazing 3 night stay with 11yr old, 8yr old and our dog in this lovely cottage. Great walks from the door, an easy walk to the pub and lovely beaches a bit further afield. It's so peaceful and surpassed expectations, shame kids had to go back to school as we would have loved to stay longer. Hosts are super responsive and really helpful. Worth noting there are a lot of ticks on the moor so worth bringing spray and tick removers. Thanks and we hope to come back.

Thanks Kirsty for a lovely peaceful break that we all tremendously enjoyed. The accommodation which was easily big enough for 7 of us, had great breakfast and dining space plus a beautiful lounge to relax in. The stunning views, being private and off the beaten track we’re just what we needed to chill and relax.. but close enough to lynmouth & Lynton & porlock which were all great to explore.. what a fantastic property Very much recommended..

The photos do not do the Drydock Cottage justice - it is even more beautiful than it looks in the photos and also a lot more spacious. The attention to detail and every element of the design that has gone into the conversion of this building is second to none. The location is also absolutely perfect - so peaceful, tucked away in gorgeous grounds with a view straight out onto the canal and across over the valley to the mountains beyond. I could have sat and watched the world go by, including the families of ducks, all day. The home made goodies were very welcoming and I loved every minute of my stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place for people looking to escape to somewhere unique and peaceful.

Georges house is a lovely bright and airy space with everything you need. The location is perfect - so close to lovely cafes, restaurants and shops. Lynton is a beautiful little town. George sent lots of helpful information re access and parking before our arrival and it was really easy to find the house and car parking close by.

The Croft was a lovely place to stay, very clean and homely feeling! Both Amanda and Iain were very lovely and very helpful and we couldn’t thank them enough!

We had a wonderful stay at the cosy cottage. The first hours unfortunately were quite cold, because the house wasn’t heated when we arrived. But we escaped into the warm jacuzzi :) When the house was warmed up it was perfect. The surroundings are beautiful, you can do great walks in and around Lee. We totally recommend it!

Excellent property with a wonderful host. House is exactly as the photos and after our last experience with another host, Maria and her house was exactly as the reviews and the extra touches didn’t go a miss. We just came back from 4 nights at The Dunes. Fantastic from start to finish. Beautiful home a couple of minutes from the beach. Communication with host was informative and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Lovely stay at Aaron and Jai’s place. Felt right at home there and it’s in a great location- in the city but still nice and peaceful. Aaron and Jai were great hosts, really friendly and informative. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay here again myself if I’m ever in the area again.

What a fabulous place - bright and colourful, spacious yet homely. Big comfy bed, dog friendly, excellent shower! It had everything we needed and the outside seating area was a lovely space to relax in the sun. Lovely quiet location and a great place to use as a base for exploring the Brecon Beacons and the Four Waterfalls. Thank you!

Great house in the centre of Dunster. Easy to find, if a little awkward to drive in and out. The parking is tight but we managed fine with a large mpv. The facilities and rooms were nice and comfortable. (A small point to note, if you have allergies, you can tell that dogs have been staying there, but the cleanliness as a whole was absolutely fine). There is lots of walking straight from the door, and the castle is literally over the road. All in all, we had a really enjoyable time there.
