Longhouse Hen Dy Grade 2 Listed, Elan Valley

Hen Dy, sleeping six people, is the upper section of the Grade II* listed Llannerch y Cawr Longhouse from the 16th Century. Restored in 1999 and history-rich, it retains traditional features and is one of two semi-detached self-catered units. With cobbled and flagstone floors, beamed ceilings and a big inglenook fireplace, it offers a cosy, off-grid, rural stay. Comprises a double bedroom, one twin and a double bed settee in the lounge. Note the uneven floor and potential bat noise in summer.
