A more than 130-year-old log cabin in the cultural heritage landscape of Suvanto takes its residents on a time journey to a 19th-century Ostrobothnian village. The destination is best suited for lovers of Lapland's nature, history and silence, who are not afraid of the dark in winter or mosquitoes in summer. Please note: there is no public transportation to the village, no toilet in the main building, nor a shower. There is a separate sauna building outside and a traditional outhouse behind the sauna.

Property is located 2km from the mainroad E75, only 13km from Saariselkä ski resort and 39km from the Ivalo Airport. Place is really easy to reach.

Our igloos are 32m² in size and can accommodate two to four persons. The motorized double bed is directly under the glass ceiling. Separate extra beds are made from the sofa. The place was just perfect – very nicely decorated and with a lot of love for detail, you feel right at home. Everything was super clean and tidy. The sauna and pool were an absolute highlight. Kitchen was very well equipped! I would like to highlight the communication with Kristiina: she always responded very quickly to messages and provided us with many great tips for excursions and activities in the area. The stay was completely pleasant – highly recommended! Thank you for the warm hospitality!

Very lovely and cozy setting. The cottage was clean and also very beautiful, both outside and inside, as was the whole of Luosto's log village area. There were beautiful views of the fell from the windows. You can get to the ski track within walking distance and other Luosto services just a short distance away. Also a big plus for bringing a pet, my cat was great at the cottage like we did! I recommend for those who appreciate peaceful nature travel. Thanks to the host too, communication worked and the setting was the best! :)

The apartment was in a great location. Restaurants and ski trails were found right next door. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated. Virgine responded quickly to messages and made sure everything went smoothly. He gave us some great tips about activities and restaurants.

Beautiful accommodation and equipped with everything important. For 4 adults a little small, especially the additional room from the veranda even without possibility to supply clothes. Unfortunately, it does not have direct access to the toilet from this room. There was little space in the shower room for personal belongings to put away.
