Take a break from everyday life and relax in this peaceful wilderness cottage on the banks of the Kemihaara River on the edge of the Kemihaara wilderness. Here you can fish, hunt, hike, bike, berry, sponge, or just marvel at nature and animals. Remote work is also successful thanks to a good wifi connection. Please note that, especially in winter, the cottage requires wilderness skills and the use of technical machines and appliances (gas pot, gas heater, etc.). The cottage does not have maintenance heating, but the renter heats the cottage upon arrival.

Welcome to my holiday home in the heart of Saariselkä – only a few minutes' walk away of Urho Kekkonen National Park trailheads. I renovated and furnished my home completely in 2023 with all modern amenities while preserving the traditional stone-built fireplace and Finnish sauna. With three beds upstairs and a large sofa bed downstairs, the accommodation is comfortable for various types of groups. The remote working space, fully equipped kitchen and laundry also make it ideal for a longer stay.

This country house, built in the 70s, has served as the main building of a reindeer farm, a loving home, grandma’s place, and a shelter for a bunch of cats, dogs, and motherless reindeer babies. Mökin pihassa on ilmainen parkkialue sekä lämpötolppa. Ulkoiluvälineille on pieni varasto.
