A more than 130-year-old log cabin in the cultural heritage landscape of Suvanto takes its residents on a time journey to a 19th-century Ostrobothnian village. The destination is best suited for lovers of Lapland's nature, history and silence, who are not afraid of the dark in winter or mosquitoes in summer. Please note: there is no public transportation to the village, no toilet in the main building, nor a shower. There is a separate sauna building outside and a traditional outhouse behind the sauna.

The place was just perfect – very nicely decorated and with a lot of love for detail, you feel right at home. Everything was super clean and tidy. The sauna and pool were an absolute highlight. Kitchen was very well equipped! I would like to highlight the communication with Kristiina: she always responded very quickly to messages and provided us with many great tips for excursions and activities in the area. The stay was completely pleasant – highly recommended! Thank you for the warm hospitality!

The house makes you feel at home from the first minute. Everything you need is there and there are many activities nearby. The cottage was a short distance from the center and it was easy to find. The equipment in the cottage was really good and the hot tub was a highlight, especially for the children's trip :) You could also invest a little more in cleanliness outside the seasons, for example, dust balls under the beds. But this was the only minus, we would come again!
