We loved our stay at Rodrigo’s! His house was warm and inviting, with breathtaking ocean views. We loved having breakfast every morning on the patio. Rodrigo was so kind and flexible, and provided great local recommendations. Highly recommend staying here, we hope to come back in the future!

My fiancé and I really enjoyed our stay at the Azor Eco Lodge! From the personal greeting with flowers and a homemade cake to the surprise pancake breakfast we felt truly welcomed. The hosts were extremely communicative, even pre-heating the hot tub for us on the first night. The home had everything we could need including coffee, laundry detergent, beach towels and extra blankets. Would absolutely stay here again!

An excellent stay/home/location in every way. Convenient to Povoacao. A clean, friendly neighborhood. An ocean view from the front step. Waterfalls nearby. A well-stocked market directly across the street. The best stocked kitchen of any Airbnb I've ever stayed in in terms of cookware, appliances (dishwasher!!), nice matching dinnerware, plenty of kitchen gadgets, and flatware. For balance, however, there were no cooking essentials - oil, salt, spices, etc., but they were cheap and nearby - across the street. Both bedrooms are at the front of the building - facing the street. A main street - with plenty of truck and motorcycle traffic. It will be noisy. Mattresses and linens - top notch. We found the WiFi to be "weak." We could only use it in the living room where the router was. The signal was unable to penetrate any walls, so there was no WiFi in the bedrooms. The home provides for excellent and convenient off-street parking with an ample driveway. Back-in!! :-)

Beautiful base for Sao Miguel We loved Erico‘s place which was comfortable, beautifully decorated and charming. It also was very well equipped with dishes, spices, generous towels und great beds. Parking on the steep street is a bit daunting to start with and there are barking dogs just like everywhere else on the island that break up the serenity but the place is a real haven and between walking to the beach and driving to the different corners of the island it’s in a great place too. Érico was a responsive generous host, from the welcome bread and milk to restaurant recommendations , thank you Erico, we would definitely come again

Maria has created a wonderful place with her B&B, where you immediately feel welcome and part of the family. Our room was very cozy, the breakfast was incredibly delicious and rich, the garden a dream. It was also nice to meet other travelers and grill with them in the garden. But what makes this place special are Maria and Dina with their friendly and warm-hearted manner. We highly recommend this accommodation!

Casa Da was absolutely perfect. It was spotless and equipped with everything very well. The parking right outside the apartment was very handy. The location itself is beautiful and close to a lot of nice walks. We highly recommend! :)

Natalia is very welcoming. She lives right next door. Everything was very clean. It was even bigger than the pictures were. The pool and breathtaking views. Natalia gave us fresh eggs and local specialties that she cooked herself. The only downside is that the beds could be more comfortable. We didn't miss a thing. Near Povoacao, a quieter town on the island.

We loved staying in this little cottage by the sea. The days watching the waves break on the shore, and the nights curled up by the fire with a film - it was truly a beautiful place. Parking is easy and free, and there's a choice of two local restaurants (note one of them is currently closed for renovation, but the other one has great food albeit with no sea view). The property itself is perfect for a romantic getaway to the sea. Hearing the waves rip onto the sand at night was a special experience, and there's a waterfall in walking distance too. I would also strongly recommend the municipal hiking trail which we tried on a whim, but ended up being one of the best hikes we did in the Azores - it starts right next to the house! Most importantly, I need to shout out to Joao and his team. We had an issue with the bathroom and he fixed it within 24h, despite it being a public holiday in Portugal that day. We really appreciated how hard he worked to get it all sorted so quickly. Kudos!
