Unwind at our peaceful cottage, tucked away in a quiet Lincolnshire village. With easy access to the A1 just 3-4 minutes away leading to Grantham, Stamford to the South and Newark and York to the North. The village of Long Bennington (4 mins by car or 20 mins by foot over country paths - difficult in the dark / can be muddy) offers 3 pubs with food, 2 takeaways, a coop store, and cafe, with beautiful walks along the river Witham from the doorstep, a real retreat from the busy and hectic.

Post office, shop and pub (10 mins walk) Footpath from the property through fields and woods as far as Belton, Syston and beyond.

Built as a writer's retreat, the Writer's Studio, sits in the grounds of a Georgian townhouse, in the heart of a traditional English village. Enjoy the local towns and their enthralling history, from the Romans through the Vikings and the civil war to WW2 bomber history. Being 1.5 miles from the A1 makes it an easy area to find and enjoy.

A one-bedroom, self-contained annexe that sleeps two in the beautiful Lincolnshire village of Scopwick. The property sits behind our house, separated by a courtyard garden and accessed by the side gate. The well-appointed property offers underfloor heating, dishwasher, microwave, Sky TV and WiFi. There is a single parking space on the drive for guests.

The Reading Room

A timber framed barn, formerly used as the village reading room and lodge for shooting parties. Converted in 2020 to offer a comfortable holiday stay. Located in the middle of the quiet village opposite the Green Man pub. Ideal for quiet weekends or longer stays to explore Lincoln and the surrounding countryside.

Private Annex near Melton Mowbray

Hose Lodge is a traditional farmhouse in the tranquil vale of Belvoir. Outside there are farm buildings and stables, paddocks and an orchard together with formal gardens round the house. It is in a secluded location with great views. The annex is a separate unit to allow privacy and convenience to our guests.

The cottage is over 300 yrs old and has had a complete renovation. The east wing is for our guests with garden and seating area. 10% discount for weekly stays. Price: 2 people sharing a king bed.
