Villa holiday rentals in Long Island Sound

We enjoyed our stay here and it was comfortable for us to sleep 4 people. The bedrooms were nice and bathroom recently updated. We experienced some loud noise from the above neighbors on a Sunday morning but other than that it was quite. There is a nice washer and dryer with detergent that we used too. It was also nice to be close to Pershing field park and not far to get on the PATH train into NYC.

The place was very big and nice. The only thing is that I can tell they were renovating the place and the smell of paint was very strong. Beautiful home and very roomy. However, if you will be staying here, make sure to bring some very warm PJs, not for the bedrooms but the kitchen/dinning and living room areas. The place had lots of window so this is why it was a bit hard to warm up those areas but heaters were available to help warm up the place. Overall it was a beautiful home and the host was very responsive. I just wish that with all these AirBnB's they would allow us to check in earlier since check out is so early. You don't get your money's worth or get to enjoy anything. We are checking if after 4 PM (because that is the normal check in time) then have to leave as soon as you wake up EARLY on a Sunday. So technically you enjoy your stay for a day.

The house was perfect for my friends and I! Great location and within a short walking distance to the beach. We also really appreciated the coffee and breakfast buffet in the morning!

Such a great stay at this lakeside spot in Bridgeport! The place was very modern and beautifully designed. Everything felt fresh and up to date. The lake view was amazing, and we enjoyed hanging out outside by the water. It was perfect for our large family and worked out well for our long stay while our house was being fixed. It felt nice and private, but still so close to everything we needed. Daymane was a great host—friendly and easy to stay in touch with the whole time. Would def stay here again!

The hostess was very helpful and very responsive. The condo was as described and lovely for our family reunion. It was very clean, very comfortable and so welcoming. We were just a couple of minutes away from the Mohegan Sun casino. The area is beautiful. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay! The house is right next to the Empire State Trail, which was great for walking our dogs! We will definitely be back!

Overall the stay was amazing, you’ll find it cheaper here (Airbnb) than the actual booking site which blows my mind. It’s important to know the fireplace is off and isn’t allowed to be turned on. And, our host was amazing, we got caught in a snow storm and thought we would be snowed in and Amanda made communication and resolving my issues as seamless as possible. The “spa” is really just a public jacuzzi but it’s also relatively private (it’s in a nice location). For anyone booking here I would recommend looking into spas surrounding the area and booking those ahead of time as well cause they’re kinda steep. The stay was quiet and nice a good getaway from life, couple of restaurants around which makes life easier and that’s really it. I’d give this stay 4/5 stars

We had a wonderful Hudson Valley stay at this property. Our grand-daughters loved sleeping together in the bedroom with two double beds; and my wife and I, plus our two daughters and their husbands enjoyed good nights of sleep in the three bedrooms containing a double or queen bed. The kitchen was well equipped; and the huge living room with large dining table was perfect for the children to play, the adults to relax, and all of us to eat. The artwork in the house gave it character, the views of the Hudson River were a treat, and the location was great for visits to Storm King Art Center and Legoland NY. The email which I brought along from AirBnB had the correct street, but the wrong numerical address; however, AirBnB promptly helped us find the correct address and helped us get into the house. Of all the houses which we have rented for family weekends, this was absolute the best one.

We had a lovely stay- large family in town for a college graduation. The kitchen was great for cooking, large dining tables both inside and on the large screened porch. We particularly enjoyed the fireplace, which was stocked with plenty of wood and the pool table. We had one issue and the owners were very responsive. Make sure you bring slippers because shoes aren’t allowed in the house and the basement floor is chilly. Definitely recommend the house.

Everything was absolutely amazing. We felt at home the entire stay and had everything we needed. Carl was really easy to work with. I mistakenly booked the trip a day shorter than needed. At the last minute I realized my mistake and Carl was quick to respond that adding an extra day was no problem. The system had a problem though allowing me to book an overnight stay on the same day I “checked out,” but Carl worked back and forth with me and with AirBnb help until I was finally able to book that extra night. Carl remained professional, calm, and polite, even though I know that was probably stressful and a pain to deal with. The problem was 100% on me, but he helped to fix it with such grace. I really appreciate the professionalism. I highly recommend both Carl and this specific rental. Thank you!

Our stay at this stunning lake house was nothing short of amazing. Cleanliness was top-notch—the entire place was spotless and clearly very well cared for. We loved how quiet and serene the surroundings were; it felt like our own private retreat away from the noise and rush of everyday life. Mornings spent sipping coffee on the deck and kayaking over the water by the backyard lake were highlights of our trip. Whether you're looking to unwind, connect with nature, or simply enjoy some peace and quiet in a beautiful setting, this lake house is the perfect place. We’re already dreaming of our next visit and would recommend it without hesitation.

It was a great place for 8 of us to stay and enjoy an upstate weekend. An easy drive from NYC and easy access to many attractions. Kitchen is well equipped and fully functional. Ricky was very responsive. Overall I would stay here again.

Jamestown is the quiet luxury you’re looking for—and Matt’s villa is the place to stay! The area felt peaceful and relaxed, yet we were still able to walk into town with ease. Newport was less than 10 minutes away, making it the perfect home base, and we even had time to explore a few beautiful public beaches in Jamestown, just a quick 7-minute drive from the villa. We hope to stay here again!

Terrific house, great deck with spectacular views of the lake (plus, we saw bald eagles twice), nice dock and swimming, very enjoyable and relaxing place for my family to spend an extended weekend. Highly recommend.

We had a great time at the airbnb. The house is beautiful, well furnished, and comfortable. The location is great - easy drive from NYC to get out into nature and take a break from the city. Robin was a fantastic host - very communicative and responsive, provided plenty of guidance on what to do in the area. Hope to be able to come again soon.

The house was beautiful and even nicer than the pictures. We loved the pool and the beach was right there. Tim was super responsive- especially around check in time. Would easily stay there again next time i am im the area !

This was just what we needed for our ten year anniversary weekend escape! It was the perfect mix of relaxation and fun with the spa, golf course, and Mohegan Sun only five minutes away with restaurants and shows galore. A gem of a place. Very communicative hosts as well. Highly recommend!

My family and I had a wonderful time at this property. The outdoor space was beautiful, and we especially enjoyed lounging by the pool and relaxing in the hot tub. The kids had a blast with the swing set and in the playroom. Just a heads-up: cell signal is limited in the area, but the WiFi worked well and kept us connected. Overall, we had a fantastic stay!

My husband and I stayed for a month and we had a fantastic stay. The house was comfortable and clean. The kitchen is very well appointed and easy to work in. The property is so peaceful and serene. We spent most of our time by and in the pool and it was so relaxing. Summer was an amazing host, always responding within just a few minutes.

We brought our three adult children here to reconnect and explore a new beach town, and this home was the highlight of our trip. It offered the perfect mix of fun and relaxation—truly the most amenities we've ever had at an Airbnb. We enjoyed nightly game competitions in the incredible game room with golf simulation, ping pong, Pac-Man, racing games, and more. The basement had board games and a basketball shootout we loved. The pool, hot jacuzzi, and dinners on the deck made for relaxing, memorable evenings. Ann Marie was kind, responsive, and a joy to work with. Her eye for design made the home feel like something out of a magazine. The beds were super comfortable, and the natural light throughout the home was beautiful. Thank you Ann Marie, for entrusting your incredible home to our family. The memories we have made are priceless and we are very grateful to have had this amazing opportunity! Our only regret was not getting around to do the Karaoke machine-Next time!

We had a fantastic time, the highlight of our stay was definitely the amazing pool. It was clean, well-maintained, and it also had heating facilities making it perfect for a refreshing swim. The stay was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy for us to cook meals when we wanted to. The bedrooms were cozy, and the bathrooms were spotless. Our host, Israel, was incredibly welcoming and responsive. He provided us with all the information we needed and were quick to address any questions or concerns we had during our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway for a large group of people with a great pool. We hope to visit again soon!
