In winter, there are good opportunities for all skiing and snowmobiling activities with slopes nearby. Øksfjord is located about 30 km from the cabin and there you can take the ferry over to Sørøya which is Norway's largest island without a mainland connection. At the cabin you can see the northern lights dancing over the cabin on a clear winter evening or experience the light 24 hours a day on a summer evening.

Dette koselige gjestehuset er opprinnelig en gammel fjøs som er innredet. De originale gamle tømmerveggene er beholdt, noe som gir rommene sjarm og ro, og nye materialer er brukt i kombinasjon. Totalt 80 kvadrat fordelt på gang, bad, soverom, kjøkken og stue med peisovn. Huset også kalt Fjøsen på Draugnes ligger på Arnøya i Nordtroms. Øya er kjent for gode jaktmuligheter på småviltjakt og fiske i sjø. Stor bestand av ørn. 3 km til matbutikk og hurtigbåtkai. Båt fra Tromsø anløper daglig.

The house is from 2004, situated 25 meters from the sea, with a beautiful view from the living room and terrace. It is modern equipped with dishwasher, microwave, freezer and all the kitchen equipment you will need, floor heating in the bathroom, laundry room and entrance area. The bedrooms are quite spacious with good quality beds. During spring, summer and autumn a boat for 4 people, with an outboard engine, is available for rent. Perfectly situated for day trips around the area. :)
