Sui’s home was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Sui was very responsive and a great host!

This house was adorable and is in a location that couldn't be beat! We enjoyed our stay - coffee and wine on the decks and easy walks around the sites and shops in the lower town. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well-stocked and the views from everywhere were amazing! Easy 20-ish minute drive over to Loudon County wine country, if that's your destination. Check-in and check-out was great. Easy with flexible timing, which we greatly appreciated. Dean was VERY helpful, especially when it came to parking - we brought three cars and he made sure we had ample space, even when some of our drivers were unsure of the narrow roads. (Roads are hilly and corners are sharp in the mountains, if you are not used to that.) The house could use a good dust and sweep, but dishes and linens were clean and plentiful. Not a dealbreaker, unless you have allergies - but it is an old house, after all, so some of it is to be expected. We would gladly stay again!

We love this house! We travelled to Upperville for the Upperville Horse and Colt Show and the house could not have been more perfect. Location was great - 5-10 min to the horse show and also close to downtown Middleburg. Will definitely stay again!

We loved the area. The house was very clean and we felt very comfortable. We enjoyed coming back to the house after the horse show and just relaxing. We hope to book it for next year.

This was the perfect city get away for a weekend trip! The location is great, in the country but also only 10 minutes from Middelburg shops and restaurants. The home was even better than pictured, especially the outside area. The yard, pool and outside seating areas were absolutely beautiful, just so peaceful. The home was absolutely lovely, very clean, comfortable and with all the amenities you would need, including in the kitchen. Really hope to come back, I would highly recommend this rental. we had a pleasant stay at Sherry's home. the house was clean and had many useful supplies. The host responded quickly and accommodated all of our needs. one of the best Airbnbs we've stayed at. would highly recommend this charming house.

Beautiful location, right beside the KOA which thr kids loved. Very near Harper's Ferry and local tourist attractions.

We absolutely loved staying at Timothy’s place, the history of this farm home was well presented, and we loved the fact that it was still part of a family story. It was great to have the historical one room school house next-door. It was extremely clean and well organized, and well stocked, we particularly loved the screened in porch where we had our coffee and could visit during the day. Both of the bathrooms were very nice as well as the kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!

Wow. What a beautiful location and home with lovely historic charm. We were celebrating my mom’s 60th birthday and she loves history, this was the perfect home to celebrate in. She was so excited and enjoyed every minute. Our weekend didn’t go as planned with the death of my grandfather but the caretaker of the home, Mike, was so kind and understanding with our very late check-in. The communication was awesome and always so warm and kind. Everything about our stay with perfect. Highly recommend!

Perfect home for our family getaway. This updated home was spotless and well appointed with thoughtful touches throughout. My kids loved seeing the horse so close to the house. After a log day exploring the area, there was so much to do at the house if you wanted to relax and recharge or keep the kids busy - from the pool, fire pit, basketballs and footballs, ping pong, arcade and board games, hot tub, and more. The grounds are idyllic and peaceful with the W & OD Trail just steps away from the house. We truly enjoyed our time here.

I thought the place was perfect! Judy stocked the mini-fridge with awesome breakfast items to include bagels and cream cheese! From sitting outside to relaxing inside was just a great time. Their pup was the best! She would greet me every morning while having coffee…sweet girl! Would I stay there again…absolutely! Judy is an awesome host!

We had a wonderful family getaway at Andrea’s cabin. The location is stunning as described in many other reviews. The cabin has beautiful furniture and unique hardware throughout. My 4yo daughter loved playing by the pond.

My family was looking for a local weekend getaway, and this house was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, everything felt clean, cozy, and welcoming. Krystal was incredibly responsive and accommodating. We had to do an early check-in due to work call and Krystal made the entire process smooth and stress-free. She was quick to answer any questions we had. The pool was a huge hit with everyone. It was super clean and well-maintained, and we spent most of our weekend swimming, relaxing, and enjoying the beautiful outdoor space. The house itself was fully stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to extra towels, which made our stay even more comfortable. It was the perfect place to unwind and spend quality time as a family. We had such a great time and made memories we’ll always cherish. Highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a peaceful and fun escape. We would absolutely stay here again!

the stay was wonderful!! we thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. from photos, the house seemed very secluded but it’s not (no biggie!) it’s also close to nearby towns and the house was well stocked for us. we did lose power due to storms, but Michelle was very responsive and polite. Also, if you have a low riding vehicle beware that you’ll scrape bottom coming out of the driveway. The hot tub was nice, but the accessibility leaves a lot to be desired. the stairs are terrifying lol but once we got the nerve to climb them, it was lovely! the pool was amazing with a lot of provided floats, tubes etc. they also left out their vacuum and skimmers for us to use which was so helpful as a lot of frogs, turtles and bugs got into the pool throughout the night & the storms. overall, we had a great time and i would highly recommend booking. we would absolutely visit again.

We stayed here for a girls trip and loved the location! It would be perfect for families and kids as well with the pool/spa/tennis/basketball court. Check in was easy and our host was great with communication. Check out was also super easy. We did notice a few bugs inside when we checked in but they were mostly dead so we assumed the place had been recently fumigated. Also, bugs weren’t surprising considering the location. We had a great trip and I’d definitely recommend this place!

If we could give 6 stars we would! Jessica was incredibly communicative throughout the trip, and gave us wonderful directions for finding the Airbnb in the middle of the night after our flight was delayed. The Owl’s Nest itself was one of the coolest places we’ve ever stayed. You are truly immersed in the woods, with a beautiful balcony extending into the trees for a full panoramic view. Although we were only there for a quick visit, we will be returning to enjoy a longer stay sometime soon!

Our second stay here. Just as good as the first. We met our family most every day (15 minutes away) and got to participate in their many activities, and yet have a quiet, clean, large space to retreat to. They were so flexible that we felt like family !

This was my second stay at The Nest on Nixon Road, and once again, it was absolutely perfect. Returning felt incredibly comfortable and familiar—everything was just as clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully arranged as the first time. Traveling with my dog can sometimes be a challenge, but Emily makes it so easy and welcoming. The space is not only pet-friendly, but genuinely pet loved—my pup settled in right away. Having a quiet, cozy spot where we both felt comfortable, which made the whole trip stress-free. Emily is a fantastic host—kind, responsive, and clearly dedicated to making her guests feel at home. I’m so grateful to have found such a reliable and relaxing place to return to, and I’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommend to solo travelers (especially with dogs!) looking for a peaceful getaway.

Convenient location to downtown Middleburg and a very comfortable place to stay. We were in town for a wedding at The Goodstone Inn and enjoyed the close proximity to the venue and to town. Tim's went above and beyond with a special welcome amenity as well as providing us with an iron upon request. Tim was very responsive and helpful during our stay and we would not hesitate to stay again when visiting the area. Thank you Tim for a wonderful weekend.

This place was exactly perfect for our mother/daughter weekend! It was quaint and the setting was beautiful! Enjoyed a walk around the pond and saw all of the dragonflies! It was so close to wineries, breweries and shopping!

Our countryside escape was just what we needed. The home was peaceful and full of charm — exactly as described. We would definitely come back !!! Denny was a great communicator. He was always proactive and let us know everything about the place. The place was clean and well set up. There were a lot of things to do with kids and we especially loved the hot tub !!! Highly recommend !!!
