There is an abundance of walks right from your doorstep, you're even lucky enough to have the Offas Dyke within a stones throw from the Cabin.

A cosy cottage in the idyllic market town of Ellesmere. A short walk from the mere itself and the park, together with all the town's amenities and the canal. Several pubs, restaurants and cafes are within a 10 minute walk. The location is ideal for exploring the north and West of Wales together with Cheshire and Shropshire. This property is conveniently situated close to the town's main bus stop providing links to Shrewsbury and Gobowen railway station. A lovely area to explore.

There is ample off road parking and access to the gardens, which have been opened for the National Garden Scheme, and croquet

The Ashmore is a beautiful log cabin settled in the Embank forest. Made from the Ash and Sycamore trees from the surrounding woodland. Log burner to keep you cosy throughout the cooler months. There's lighting but no electricity/please bring battery banks to charge phones. No shower. Chemical loo and compost loo. Cooking facilities: gas stove and a fire pit/bbq. Tap for fresh water No smoking inside the cabin. Wellies and walking boots advised in winter.

The property is situated on the second floor, so please be aware there is no disabled access. We are located next to the mere, with sufficient storage for bikes and canoes, we are also pet friendly. Ellesmere is a beautiful picturesque market town located in North Shropshire, known for its 9 stunning meres and canal.

Although no evidence of the mill remains, If you stop and stare for a while you may get a sense of days gone by when the water mill would have turned day and night, grinding flour for the local folk.
