Waterfront holiday rentals in Lower Lough Erne

We had a positively amazing stay with Mona and Charles. A true gem. This is the place you will long to return. We arrived to a warm welcome from Mona who prepared fresh baked scones for us and fresh cut flowers in our room. The accommodation was very well stocked with fresh eggs, oats, granola, cold water, beer, soda, milk, a plethora of snacks, a loaf of fresh baked bread and 2 slices of carrot cake. The kitchen well stocked and in good working order if you want to prepare food. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom clean and well stocked with good shower pressure and enough hot water for 2 people. The host is mindful of the environment which we appreciated. The surroundings are so peaceful. We enjoyed playing with Addie and Bingo, their 2 lovely dogs, wandering the property and visiting the horses which roam free and were very friendly. The location is great and about a 25 minute drive to Slieve League, 30 minute to Silver Strand beach and 10 to Fintra. HIGHLY recommend this place .

We loved staying here, lovely views. The flat was well furnished and and a well equipped kitchen. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the balcony due to the weather but it would be have been great.

we spent a long weekend at Karens apartment and would highly recommend it. The apartment was lovely really airy and spacious, it was spotless clean and had everything you could need for your stay. The balcony was lovely to sit out in the evening watching the boats go by. It's really well situated with everything within a few minutes walk. Karen was great to deal with , responding within a few minutes. The bottle of wine was appreciated and enjoyed. We definitely will return .

Marina’s place has a beautiful view of the water and a private beach you can access down a walking path. The kitchen was well stocked for our needs and the place is spacious and very clean. We appreciated the local crisps, homemade cake & milk upon arrival. Marina is a lovely host and even offered to dry our clothes in her home after we were caught in a rainstorm the day before we were leaving. It is only 5 minutes from a market and town making it easy to grab a bite to eat. It is about 30 minutes from Slieve League and I believe it was about the same to Donegal. It is only 10 minutes from the secret waterfall. We found it to be a great location for exploring the Slieve League area and it is a great location if you plan to head north toward Ardara as well.

Outstanding view from the living room window, so modern, clean and spacious. Walking distance to the town and right facing the funfair and beach, the apartment was overall beautiful so clean and fresh, Ian was a lovely host and very easy to communicate with. Will definitely be recommending to others and will 100% be back thank you Ian for a wonderful stay!

The flat was very nicely spaced out and very clean and modern. The shower pressure was fairly weak but other than that the stay was great and couldn't fault it.

Elspeth and Drew are absolutely wonderful and so informative with everything on the farm and how things work. The farm has an absolutely beautiful view of the surrounding lands around it. The cows are so cute and adorable ! I love my girl Candy! You have to visit this place! The campview farm has so much to offer and the cuddly cow and a great spot to stay in! book here!!!! No hassle re check in, scones etc a very pleasant bonus. Accommodation was perfect for us, near everything and views are amazing. Place was spotlessly clean, great garden to sit and appreciate the views. Everything was great and would thoroughly recommend and return again. Thanks John.

Joelene and Nick were great hosts, their cottage was in an stunning location, close to both Enniskillen and Kesh. We had an amazing stay! It was a tranquil weekend on the waters edge. Only thing I’d say is just be prepared for the £50 mooring fee for the 3 nights if you bring a boat

The boathouse is a great accommodation with a beautiful view of the water. The house is spacious and cozy, we were five and we all were able to relax very well. Thank you very much!

Arrived at house and was even better than the pictures, such a beautiful house and surroundings. Has everything you need and extras. Very good shower upstairs and also very comfortable sofas. Nothing within walking distance and also WiFi not great but we had a great time !!

Location was perfect. Lots of seating areas in the living space. Bedrooms suited our needs. At night, it was a long way to the bathroom downstairs, but we managed. lol Kitchen was lovely! We also enjoyed meeting Sinead as she popped in with extra towels. 👍🏻 Her place is so centrally located without feeling like you are in a city. We will return as life allows!!

House was great clean tidy with short pad on to beach which was top class for young children would go back

We had a fantastic stay and everyone commented on how great the house was and particuarly how comfortable it was. The house has everything needed for a relaxing stay. We would definitely stay again.

Our stay at River Cottage felt less like checking into an Airbnb and more like stepping into Anna and Luke’s thoughtfully curated retreat. Nestled beside a usually gentle stream, the cottage offered a rare kind of quiet. We found ourselves unwinding in ways we hadn’t expected. As if the place itself were helping us silence the usual rush of thoughts. The sauna and cold plunge, discreetly positioned at the water’s edge, added a touch of simple luxury. They blended seamlessly into the natural surroundings rather than standing out as flashy extras, even when lit up at night. We explored the surrounding area by car and found Sligo to be the perfect complement to the cottage’s peaceful seclusion. My wife and I already feel drawn back to this little slice of Ireland - eager for another chance to recharge in the calm that Anna and Luke have created. We’re also looking forward to seeing their next ideas come to life.

The place was great and the views were amazing. The place is so quiet and private. We used this location as a base for visiting northwest Ireland and it worked out great. The only thing we didn’t count on traveling to Ireland, is our adapters for Europe are not the same as Ireland and the UK. But we found some in town and everything worked out. Loved the stay and would highly recommend.

A really lovely, clean and spacious apartment in a superb location looking directly out onto the Shannon. A nice quiet spot with Glancy's Bar close by and the rest of Carrick just a short walk over the bridge. The apartment is immaculate and very stylish and Susan left us with fresh milk, orange juice, chocolate, tea, coffee, etc. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels and plenty of storage space. Contact with Susan was great, initially using Airbnb messaging and then by phone and whats-app. She also left us a list of pubs, restaurants and things to do. We thought the cost was quite high but it's not bad when split between the 5 of us and it's on a par with whatever else is available in Carrick - and we were lucky to get it because there wasn't that much available - Carrick is a very popular place! Overall we had a fantastic stay, wouldn't hesitate to recommend Susan and would look forward to staying again if we return.

Great location and the apartment was perfect for our family of 3 adults and a child. Everything we needed was provided, and there was plenty space to move around. Stairs are quite steep so my father found them a little difficult but no problem for younger people! Convenience shop and diner downstairs and lots of free nearby parking.

Enjoyed greatly this cute and functional space! Eileen is a terrific host who went beyond to help with connections to activities and sights in charming Sligo. Perfectly located for both quiet and within walking distance of town. An easy-to-use bus stop across the road, a convenience store and restaurant pub a stone's throw away. And beautiful sunsets!

We were in Knockvicar to research our family roots so Anne's place was perfect because we could access all the local graveyards/Leitrim Heritage Centre, Ballinamore, Drumshabo music festival etc. Anne was super-helpful but also respected our privacy. She was there if needed. Loved her spacious kitchen, comfortable beds, extras left in the fridge for us on a very late arrival from Cork, esp milk and tea. Plenty of supplies in the bathroom and the place was spotless. We had two very peaceful/quiet nights of sleep and really enjoyed our stay in Knockvicar. Thank u Anne

Fiona was a very responsive host and very quick to answer any queries. The apartment was amazing with stunning views out over the water. Was so well equipped with everything you would need for a stay. Very peaceful location yet close to carrick on shannon. So much to do in the area too. highly recommend for a stay

This was a lovely place to stay in Sligo, right next to downtown restaurants and the beautiful abbey. Dympna was very friendly, checked us in in-person and give us lots of good recommendations about where to eat and what to see. The flat itself was super cute, we decorated and clean.
