Typical Tuscan Villa with pool

Close to all amenities but, at the same time, in an ideal quiet and peaceful environment for families with children or couples. Wonderful as a retreat after sightseeing or the beach, or simply to relax and enjoy the green landscape. In a part of a restored 1,800 farmhouse, "Villa la Valle" is a simple and essential residence, well maintained, welcoming and absolutely comfortable. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms: one bedroom with a window, king size bed, air conditioning and large bathroom with tub and washing machine, the bedroom with two single beds (which can be joined) with two windows and air conditioning, a bathroom with shower. Upstairs there is a reading room with a French window on the small balcony. Downstairs is the cozy living room with satellite TV, fireplace and 2 French windows on the garden where you can eat "al fresco", cooking on the charcoal barbecue. The well-equipped kitchen (microwave, electric oven, dishwasher, toaster...) is located in a corner of the living room with dining area. Each window at the door of the house and a patio overlooking the garden are protected by mosquito nets, so you can enjoy the cool of the evening, without the distraction of an occasional fly or mosquito. Guests have their moments of relaxation in a private swimming pool (12m * 6m) in the large garden (2,000sqm) with umbrellas, sunbeds, chairs with tables, various games for the pool, toilet cabin. The park with the pool is fenced and closed by a gate. Free indoor parking with automatic gate, for total security. Wireless Internet. The house is an independent apartment - hosting families in a simple way and providing 2 cribs for children and a high chair. The house is also ideal for hosting 2 couples looking for a romantic vacation, ensuring maximum privacy for everyone with the availability of 2 bathrooms. Guests have the presence of the owners who live in another area of the farmhouse. When you arrive at the house, you will find a welcome package with local products aimed at ensuring a good stay.

Giulia & Matteo's place was beautiful. The pool was delightful. Giulia & Matteo provided all the little amenities, such as dishwashing tablets & detergent. They were super proactive & responsive. I hope to stay here again.

Stefania and Ralph are not only the best hosts, but the friendliest and most caring people we have ever met. They truly do everything possible to make you feel like this beautiful place is your home. Stefania seems to truly love being a host and goes out of her way to do whatever she can for you. Honestly, the pictures don't do justice for how amazing the view really is. My friend and I spent the entire weekend on the balcony reading, drinking wine, eating pasta, taking pictures, and especially enjoying the complete peace and quiet. The village of Palaia is also the cutest and safest location for a perfect Tuscan countryside weekend. Can't thank you enough Stefania!

We were 7 adults a teenager and 2 children and there was plenty of space. The pool was a real hit and we made full use of it. The location has top marks we walked into the village for pastries and coffee every morning and gelato most afternoons!! Day trips to Pisa and Florence by public transport was easy. We ate in Calci in the evening a couple of times and had great food at the trattoria just round the corner. The host Tomasso was friendly and accommodating we would definitely stay again.

Unfortunately, my booking was confused with the day after, so that I still had some things to do in the apartment upon arrival. I found it difficult for my hosts to reach, and then my phone led me wrong, which there is only a right way up. If you have a wide long car, you should really miss out on the way. I drove two quirks into the car. Especially narrow cars are easier here. A combi is not a gift with the streets, not driving alone. The view, the fireflies, but the location is a dream. I have rarely felt as free and at home on a vacation as there. A paradise!!! I would vacation there again at any time despite the initial experience, but with a different car. ☺️ Gerda and Lee are two totally warm nice people.

First of all, the host was super kind and very clear. The apartment was really spacious and very well-stocked, we were inside an old and very artistic building, with a beautiful view of the Tuscan countryside is a delightful village like Vicopisano. The appliances were well-functioning and the two rooms spacious. I highly recommend this apartment. Maybe the temperature was a little high, but it's mid-August, the host left us 3 fans that were super comfortable. The apartment was very close to Lucca, Pisa, Collesalvetti and Pontedera. Thanks again!
