Guesthouse in southern Uppsala

The house is located in Uppsala Näs, Vreta Västra, 13 km southwest of Central Uppsala, & neighboring Hammarskogs Nature Reserve. Bus connection is available (107) about 30 minutes to Uppsala C, about 40 minutes by bicycle. Fully-equipped kitchen & bathroom. (no washing machine, but can be arranged by agreement) Separate dining room, work room, bedroom. Normally, the accommodation is rented to a maximum of 2 people. For stays/accommodation for a longer period, a special agreement can be made for monthly rent & operating costs. The house can then be rented with room for 3 people.

Welcome to our newly built guest house "Ladan." A home in a quiet, rural setting just east of Uppsala. With us, you live 13 km from Uppsala C and 7 km from the E4, which takes you further towards Arlanda or Stockholm. 1000 meters from the accommodation, a bus goes directly to Uppsala C and during some summer days, you can take a steam train to the city with the museum railway Lennakatten. The guest house is located on the outskirts of Gunsta community, close to nature. In the area, there is the nice Stiernhielms Krog & Livs, where you can eat well or shop a little.

Nice little guest house near beautiful nature and lake

Come and enjoy nature with the family in our cozy little guest house. In the garden, there are chickens and rabbits. Well suited for families with children as there are swings and a sandbox. Close to the lake where you can swim and a nature reserve with beautiful nature. Yet, it is only 20 minutes by car or bus from central Uppsala. If you bring your bike, it takes 35 minutes to the city center. The house is new and nice with a spacious sleeping loft with five beds (one 80 cm bed and two 160 cm beds) and a cozy TV corner.

Beautifully close to Arlanda and Uppsala

Welcome to a nice simple accommodation in scenic surroundings in a small village in the countryside. You are close to Uppsala, Arlanda and Knivsta, a perfect stop on the way for a small group. 1 room and kitchenette with its own shower, lush patio and parking, nature is on your doorstep with blackbirds and deer. There are nice hiking areas around in the fields, bird watching along Storån in spring/autumn and many cultural remains from the Stone and Bronze Age in the area. Linnaeus Hammarby is 10 minutes away by car

Small cozy guesthouse near lake.

Small cozy guest house on a leafy plot. 400 meters from the cottage is Lake Mälaren. Here you can swim at a jetty or small beach in the summer and ice skate in the winter. Close to a beautiful nature reserve with barbecue areas and nice forest. The cottage has a room and bathroom. It has a small, but fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. There is a bed (140 cm) as well as a folding guest bed (70 cm). In the bathroom, there is a washing machine, shower and toilet. Sheets and towels included.

Privat small apartment with a separate entrance in a house from 1969. Nice, quiet and comfortable -perfect for one person and to stay longer. Full equipped smaller kitchen and a bathroom with shower, washing machine,comfortable bed, armchair, lots of wardrobes. You live by yourself and you don’t share anything. Gamla Uppsala is 4 km north of Uppsala city, nice, quiet and very close to the nature. The highway E4 is close and you can go by bus, bike or walk to city, it’s 100m to the busstop.

Central Knivsta Private Tiny House

Enjoy a cozy and convenient stay in Knivsta, a cute village with easy access via train to Stockholm 28min, Arlanda airport 8min and Uppsala 9min. Our guest house has a private entrance, mini kitchen, TV with Chromecast, comfortable 140cm bed, small sofa bed and bathroom with a washing machine and nice shower. Everything you need is within walking distance, including the commuter train station, grocery stores, restaurants, cafés, gyms and the lake. You can also park for free on the property.

Lófi Cottage: Small house on the Upplands Way

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This is a newly built (2022) small house close to the Upplands Way (Upplandsleden) hiking trail, and the Lunsen nature reserve with walking trails and beautiful scenery. Only 12 minute drive to Knivsta, or 25 minute drive to central Uppsala. 2.3 km to the nearest bus stop. New deck installed August 2024. Outside space/garden has not yet been landscaped. However, beautiful views, forest and walking trails are right on your door.

Es gibt eine voll eingerichteten Küche, eine eigene Terasse und es liegt in perfekter Pendellage nach Uppsala (9min), zum Flughafen Arlanda und Stockholm (29min). Der nächste Supermarkt befindet sich nur 500m entfernt und zum Badesee im Ort sind es circa 1,5 km.

Outside, you have large, nice parks and playgrounds. Nice hiking trails and Fyrisån river just around the corner. Quiet and cozy area. A walk of about 15 minutes along the Fyrisån river takes you to the city center, or alternatively, you have 1 minute to the city buses. Parking for cars is available.

Enjoy a morning or evening swim from your own dock and take a ride on the lake or take a walk in the forest right at your doorstep. Nearby you will find the outdoor area Fjällnora and if you wish to get into town, it is about 20 minutes into Sweden's fourth largest city where you will find all the restaurants and shopping you can imagine.
