Charming chalet, beautiful view, heart of Ardennes

This beautiful and completely private location, romantic chalet, with a view, in the middle of nature, facing south. It is located right near the river Almache. Located at one and a half kilometers on each side, are 2 typical villages, 2 sub-municipalities of Daverdisse : Porcheresse and Gembes. From here you can also easily go to Bouillon, Dinant, Le Tombeau Du Géant, the bookstore Redu, Givet, etc. In the surrounding area you will find different types of restaurants : from very ordinary, where you can walk with your step shoes or boots inside, up to and including a Michelin star. The chalet is very easily accessible and is still located in the middle of nature. You can take beautiful walks in the forests and/or in the sun as soon as you step outside the door. For mountain bikers, too, it is a true paradise here with the many marked routes. The chalet itself is cozy and also everything is available to cook for a delicious and cozy and make it a romantic evening, by the fireplace or the fire bowl outside under an incredible starry sky. Unstressing, enjoying, nature relaxing, coziness and romance are the key words here.

The cottage is a remote annex, independent of the main house which is sometimes inhabited by the owners. The sun warms the space through the floor-to-ceiling window. The Oak cabin is located on the edge of the Europacamp campsite in the middle of the forest in Saint-Hubert in the Ardennes. We were welcomed into a beautifully renovated house with high-quality furnishings. It was all there to feel completely comfortable and everything was very clean and well maintained. The house is built in a very open way. For us as a family, it's perfectly fine. May not be suitable for a group with a different composition.

We came here for a wedding nearby and only stayed for two days. We had to rest one day after the long journey before the next day the wedding took place. Though we didn’t meet the owners Marie-Pierre and Yves, they seem to be open-hearted, very friendly and supportive. The Tiny House is so cute and due to the surrounding of the house, one day can be like a one-week holiday. Thanks a lot, maybe we come back for holidays to just enjoy nature, dogs and deer 🦌.

We needed few days away from the city, and the place was just perfect. We had a kid with us, and he enjoyed the surroundings as well. If you are an active person, there are great trails nearby. Neighbouring cities are just as amazing as the place itself. The hosts were helpful and friendly. Would love to come back.
