Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Luxor

This was simply the best experience we could wish for on our first visit to Luxor. The house itself is very spacious with super comfortable beds and an extremely well equipped kitchen. The outdoor spaces and the balconies are just divine with panoramic views across the Nile. The pool was the perfect temperature and a must after being out in the hot sun. The house is better than the photos. What really made our stay so amazing was the host Arlene, the Hotel staff next door and the most amazing taxi driver Ahmed...all of who could not do enough for you to make your stay the most comfortable and enjoyable it could be. The hotel food was delicious and very well priced for the huge amount you were served. There is also a small family run restaurant 'The Farmers House' just past Djorff Palace Hotel, where the food is incredible - Veggie option is the best! Thankyou Sayed, Osman and a MASSIVE Thankyou to Arlene and Ahmed, for making us feel like we had a second home in Luxor. WE WILL BE BACK!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, la maison de Valerie est un vrai havre de paix. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison dès notre arrivée. La maison est fonctionnelle, très bien équipée, nous ne manquions de rien ( cuisine très bien équipée, fer à repasser etc….) Merci à Hagag qui nous a accueilli et a été au petit soin tout au long du séjour. Quartier très calme et reposant. Même si le logement ne se trouve pas le long du Nil, c’est à peine en 10 min à peine en Tuktuk. La piscine est un vrai plus, permet de surmonter les grosses chaleurs de Luxor.

nous avons passé un séjour agréable à Luxor, chez اسامه (2 nuits) très pratique pour aller visiter les différents sites incontournables aux alentours ( temple de luxor, la vallée des rois , karnak, le souk.. :) une maison confortable et propre avec un espace ombragé en extérieur joli et calme. et surtout je que nous avons adoré: à l'aube, le spectacle incroyable des montgolfières colorées dans le ciel .. une vraie merveille! merci اسامه

La casa de Mohamed es excepcional, es maravilloso encontrar una casa con piscina para disfrutar sin compartir con nadie. El mantenimiento era diario, un ayudante de Mohamed comprobaba cada día el estado del agua y nivel de cloro de la piscina. Las estancias de la casa son amplias y techos muy altos, eso, junto con la orientación Norte/Sur del edificio, nos permitió disfrutar de nuestra estancia sin necesidad de aire acondicionado, la temperatura exterior era de 38 grados. El aseo tiene una inmensa bañera (y agua caliente). La cocina tiene lo básico para funcionar, frigorífico, horno, cocina de gas,... El salón es muy amplio y dispone de mesa grande y práctica para comer. Se puede disfrutar de una terraza en la parte superior de la casa con un acceso lateral, tiene sillones y mesa de madera, hermosas vistas. Las fotos que aparecen en Airbnb se ajustan a la realidad.

Big thanks to Liza and Karen for amazing time in Luxor and in this house! Karem always helps with everything even in th middle of the night. He gave us many options to spend our time, and he become a friend to us in this journey. The view is unbelievable, we’ve never seen anything like that. The house itself is lovely, it had many little things for our comfort. The AC works nice. I wish everyone to see this place at least once, and I hope we’ll get a chance to visit Luxor again. P.S. you may meet some non-dangerous insects and lizards in the house, because it’s a desert; there’s nothing you or hosts can do with it, so it’s okay :) Even though there’s nothing you can do, Karem came to us and helped with little “roommates” in the middle of the night, so nothing was bothering us at all.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and the view was breathtaking. The pool was perfect — clean, relaxing, and a true highlight of the place. The area is peaceful and very safe, ideal for a relaxing vacation. What truly made our experience exceptional was the tour guide Ahmed. He took everything to another level — incredibly respectful, knowledgeable, and always made sure we had the best of everything: from delicious local food to unforgettable temple visits and a stunning Nile cruise. He truly made our trip 100 times better. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience — we’ll definitely be back!

Staying at Hannah & Ahmed’s beautiful villa was the highlight of our holiday. It’s such a tranquil spot with breathtaking views, my family and I loved being in a more rural location, and yet so close to ancient Egyptian history. We were made to feel very welcome, they gave us excellent recommendations on nearby restaurants and arranged a tuk tuk which was great fun. They made everything easy for us which added to a relaxing stay. The villa is spacious and stylish, it has everything you could wish for. The roof terrace is gorgeous, watching the hot air balloons with a cup of tea at sunrise was a magical moment and something I’ll never forget. I would 100% recommend staying here, you will love it.

We had a wonderful experience staying in Villa Lostris. They provided us everything we need and beyond. By providing food, fruits, water, juice, milk and lots more. I can say you don't have to worry about anything, just bring your clothes and you'll be fine. It is a peaceful ambience and you will feel relaxed when you get home after a long-day activities. Linda and Eid are fantastic host, very accommodating, helpful, and friendly. Highly recommended!

Azzab is a wonderful host! Always fast response, easy reachable. Super quiet location in West Bank close to Valley of Kings, hot air balloon departures. He provided excellent English speaking drivers for reasonable price. Perfect large swimming pool. As he got this property just few months ago there are small minor improvements needed, so half star goes as a credit but I’m sure he will be doing a great job! My recommendation for a peaceful stay !

De largo el mejor Airbnb donde nos hemos hospedado en Egipto, camas bien hechas y limpio, lo extrañamos mucho en nuestro viaje a Egipto donde la limpieza da mucha que desear. Nos ayudó en todo y preparó un desayuno rico para nosotros, Airbnb recomendado, lo malo es que no es tan cerca del centro, pero nada que un uber o un driver pueda solucionar. Una terraza fantástica y tomar en cuenta que aunque estuvimos en una primera planta, no hay ascensor, sobre todo tomarlo en cuenta por si vienen con personas con movilidad reducida.

Adham's house is simply cozy. It is located in the West bank, more laid back. I prefer peaceful surrounding as opposed to being right in the city among the hustle & bustle. The house is close proximity to all the attractions in the West Bank, all reachable by cab within maximum of 15 minutes. Adham was always checking on me, that's sweet of him as a host who takes care of his customers. The house comes with washing machine & a fully equipped kitchen, so it was easy for me to manage my food (I'm vegetarian) and my dirty clothes. There's also metal clothes drying rack to dry your clothes. Adam provided my pick up and drop off to airport for a sum. It was at wee hours and he did not charge me extra. I would definitely return to Adham's home if I visit Luxor in future.

Our visit at Nefertarie Guest House was an experience we’ll have always in good Memory! Our visit took place in early June, when it starts to be very hot outside, so we were so happy to have the opportunity to jump in the pool at any time. We also enjoyed the freshly made breakfast on the terrace every morning. Mohamed’s Son, Ibrahim made everything possible, we had in Mind. He is a very friendly young man, how makes great holiday offerings, but also knows when to take a step back, and give the guests some private space. That is a rare quality in Egyptian Tourism, but makes the difference for german Visitors, or maybe even for Europeans in general. We would book Nefertarie Guest House again and recommend it to all our friends and relatives.

Mohamed was an exceptional host. He made sure we were always safe, secure, and having fun. He was always available to coordinate anything from a hot-air balloon ride to ordering food. The location of this villa was perfect, as on the West Bank of Luxor, everyone is family, and all of the other villas and locals nearby will treat you as such. The villa looked exactly like the pictures. The pool was refreshing and the community garden was a pleasant touch. I recommend this villa to anyone looking to stay in Luxor, even if you're planning to visit the East Bank a ton. The East Bank is a completely different place, very hectic like Cairo, so this villa was the perfect peaceful retreat at the end of the day.

This place was one of the loveliest stays in Egypt. With a great view over the Nile, amazing breakfast in the rooftop restaurant. the service was really good and all the staff, especially Ashraf were very helpful and organised many trips for us including a sunrise balloon trip at very reasonable prices

No os perdáis el alojamiento. Tan agradable como preciso en los servicios que puede ofrecer ofrecer por el momento (tanto Carine como Alí están en proceso de ampliar y mejorar sus instalaciones). Localizado en un entorno rural, en el lado del Valle de las Reinas y de los Reyes (Luxor) es, sin duda un remando de paz y silencio egipcio. Los desayunos son excelentes de verdad y a un precio insuperable. Carine es un encanto de mujer, suiza, muy alegre y súper trabajadora. Sin duda un lugar para alojarse cuando vayáis a visitar a Luxor, Karnak, el Valle de las Reinas, el Valle de los Reyes, el de los Artesanos, etc., a un precio y limpieza insuperable. Gracias Carine y Alí por vuestra ayuda y os deseamos lo mejor, en todos los sentidos.

My family had a great stay at Ineke and Azzab's place. West bank location allowed us to explore a more relaxed side of town, but still had plenty of walkable restaurant options. Super helpful in setting us up with a very good tour guide and hot air balloon. The house came with staff for transportation and breakfast (both cost extra, but well worth it for our family) that were excellent, helpful, and welcoming. Place was clean, secure, and comfortable with all the amenities we could need.
