Tucked in a private, palm-lined corner of paradise, this newly built San Jose vacation rental is a serene retreat only 20 minutes outside Ibiza Town. Spend your days taking in the sea views or playing at one of the nearby beaches, and your evenings taking advantage of all the unforgettable nightlife this island has to offer.
Lush gardens and manicured lawns surround the villa’s infinity pool and terrace, while a sandy area with an outdoor kitchen and bar evokes the beach. Closer to the house, canvas-covered sitting and dining areas are shady and comfortable—perfect for reading or napping. (Active guests can take the bikes out for a spin or challenge each other on the pétanque court instead.) Take in the sea views during the day, then watch a favorite movie on the outdoor screen or soak in the hot tub after sunset.
Inside Villa Eden, organic textures and carefully chosen furnishings create a feel of natural luxury. Classic pieces like a white sectional and Beni Ourain rug in the living room are set off by a playful pair of rabbits adorning the fireplace and a stunning large-scale photograph. The vibe continues in the fully equipped eat-in kitchen, where cooks and diners alike can take in work by some of the most influential artists in Europe.
There are seven bedrooms in the villa’s main house and two in an annex; all nine have king beds, en-suite bathrooms and terrace access, and several of the main-house bedrooms also have al-fresco showers. As in the common areas, soft tones, natural textures and clean-lined furnishings make the bedrooms feel chic yet comfortable.
Though Ibiza is known for its scene, there’s plenty to see and do on the island on a family holiday or honeymoon. The villa is a 10-minute drive from shopping and dining in San Jose, and 15 minutes from the secluded cove of Sa Caleta and the laid-back beach of Cala Jondal. For peace and quiet, make the 15-minute trip to the small village of Es Cubells; for the latest hot spots, drive 20 minutes to Ibiza Town.
