Create memories for life in this unique and family-friendly place! On beautiful Sommarøya we (the Johnsgård family) rent out this beautiful cabin. You will have the magnificent nature right at the front door. It takes you 1 hour to drive from Tromsø Airport, about 55 km. We have created a complete manual with user instructions on how to use the cabin, which you will find on the dining table upon arrival. In summer you can experience sun around the clock (midnight sun), and in autumn/winter you can see the "northern lights" if you are lucky.

That's why we offer you free rental of bicycles, snowshoes, canoes, firewood, barbecues and kayak for those with experience. The apartment is on the first floor and has large windows. It is in the nature surrounded by the ocean, white coral beaches, islets and reefs, you can see this trough the apartment windows. Park right outsidee and indside you really have everything you might need.

You can watch the beautiful northern light / aurora borealis from the huge window (10 sqm), sitting in the living room with a cup of tea or coffee in your hand:-) This is a perfect place for tourists who wants to see the northern light, whales in the fjord at winter, hiking/ skiing in the mountains or everything else you want in this lovely city.

This is our own home on Sommarøya, which we rent out for short periods. The house is bright and practical, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, fiber internet and nice outdoor areas. The location is quiet and close to nature, with a short distance to beaches, a store and great hiking opportunities. Perfect for guests who want to live like the locals and experience Sommarøya in an authentic way. You can find the bus routes on the Svipper app, and there is parking at the property.

It can hardly be described - it has to be experienced. You live on the outer side of the adventure island Senja. You can't get closer to nature - with a glass facade of almost 30 sqm you have the feeling of sitting outside while sitting inside.
