Holiday rentals with beach access in Mackinac County

Edmond’s place is actually even better than expected. It’s bigger in real time than the photos show. It is very comfortable and so quaint above the bakery. It was super quiet being above a bakery and across from the ferry. We heard no bothersome noise at all. The beds and linens are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, there is nice comfortable furniture, and we felt right at home. As others have said, the bakery coupon is an extra touch that is classy and honestly just fun! I would stay again and struggled to leave. Thank you for such a lovely home away from home. Do not hesitate to stay here. Very convenient location. BIG FAN!!

This place was wonderful! It’s easy to feel right at home and its location is perfect! There are food places that are walkable and is near a dollar general for any last minute snacks or other needs. It’s also incredibly close to a ferry that takes you to Mackinac Island so there’s no need to pay extra for parking. The place is clean and comfortable after a long day of fun!

Mary Beth and her husband were VERY friendly yet not intrusive. Everyone we talked to on Beaver Island were friendly, helpful and informative. The apartment was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We ate every meal at the apartment and never felt like something was missing or needed. My sister in law slept in the bedroom and said the bed was comfortable. I slept on the couch and it too was comfortable. Lastly, it was nice to not have a long list of ‘to do‘s’ before checking out! We would book again without hesitation!

We really enjoyed our stay here. This upstairs rental has no separate entrance and has only a curtain and shade to separate it from the rest of the home. However, the listing does explain this, and this drawback was outweighed by all the positives. The rental is clean and has convenient amenities. Peaceful, quiet setting. You can fall asleep to the waves of Lake Michigan and wake up to the birds singing. Just a small stairway to the beach, short walk to town. Deck with reclining chairs offers great views for birdwatching and stargazing. Sue is an incredible host. Great sense of humor. Very flexible and accommodating from check-in to check-out. Gave us a fun tour of the island, taught us a lot about the history, gave us recommendations, and did everything she could to make us feel welcome and at home.

A big thank you to Rose and Mike for a pleasant and restful experience. Beaver Island has a culture all its own, and their hospitality reflected it. They were very responsive and helpful, especially with ensuring we had everything we needed. Will definitely recommend them and go back as soon as we are able.

We had a great time in Mackinaw City! Location was super close to the Ferry, and walkable to many shops/restaurants. Studio was very clean and nice!

The view of the grand hotel and Mackinac island was perfect, we were greeted with cookies by the property owners, it was nice and quiet, pretty much centered between Mackinaw and Cheboygan. Would definitely stay there again, there was also plenty of room for my truck and car trailer if you’re looking for a nice quiet place outside of town for the st ignace car show week.

The bonfire at this house is truly amazing! In the early morning, you'll be gently awakened by the pleasant sound of wind chimes. The room's décor has a cozy cabin feel to it. It’s definitely spacious enough for five people, and we stayed here very comfortably.

Fantastic stay for the family!!! Great communication from the owner, immaculately clean, and some of the best views in the UP. Perfect location for exploring Mackinac Island.This place has all the amenities for a relaxing stay.

It is the perfect vacation place. This place has direct lake access with scenic peaceful surroundings. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cherished each moment we spent. Barbara's place feels like home with thoughtful attention to details. Especially if you are traveling with a big group or kids, she has provided enough toys and supplies like kitchen/bath towel, coffee etc. Highly recommended Just one thing to mention, the King bed is on a lofted bedroom which does not have four wall enclosure like regular rooms. I think this is a Michigan architecture style and looking carefully at the pictures you can easily figure it out. So something to be careful about for a big group

Trestin was an outstanding host. He was knowledgeable about the activity our vacation was built around, and gave us perfect tips for timing, parking, and planning. When our vacation took an unexpected and unfortunate turn right at the end, he extended his hand to offer help was able to assist us in figuring out what needed to be done. We would reserve with him again upon our next visit.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. It was a beautiful and peaceful spot! Ed was very helpful and kind. He helped point out hiking and restaurant locations for us to visit. They also provided a lot of items for us. I would recommend coming back again!

We loved this beautiful home and property! Very private, charming, and everything we needed. Emily is a great hostess. Loved the beds and recliners. The screened in porch was wonderful and the view of the lake and bridge from the master bedroom was amazing. You can tell everything is well cared for inside and out. This was convenient to many area attractions and a quiet, peaceful getaway as well.

The Condo was spotless and in a peaceful location. Stocked with what you need. Nice view from the balcony off of living room. Close to Mackinaw City. Only 4 or 5 minutes to restaurants and ferry to Island. Would book again if we are in the area. Bridgett was a great host. Would definitely recommend.

It was just what we thought. Holiday weekend for our first trip. This was a convenient spot to come back to and relax. Very clean, comfortable. 4 Adults were not crowded. Owner responsive for a few questions. Happy with stay.

Bridget's place was spotless clean and the condo has a great view of Lake Huron. Check-in was easy and property manager Carol was very responsive to our questions. Bathrooms were thoughtfully stocked with toiletries that made our stay easy. Will definitely stay there again!

Our stay was lovely. The condo and property in general were very well kept, the pool looked nice, and there is a nicely maintained fire pit /seating on the water! It’s right on the Straights looking towards the bridge. Inside was clean and comfortable, cozy without being small. The kitchen was big and fully supplied. Plenty of room and kitchenware to cook a great meal. I would stay here again, and we’ll leave it at that. Thank you!

5 stars!!! This place was perfect for our trip to the UP! It was spacious, spotless, and had absolutely stunning views of the lake. Communication with the host was smooth and prompt, which made everything easy and stress free. We felt right at home and truly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely book again the next time we're up north!

Quiet, private, beautiful location. Close to main Mackinaw City shops, etc. without the tourist traffic. Just a heads up as far as good for 4 guests, the extra bed is a sofa bed. All in all an excellent place to stay.
