Built in 1856 during the Settlement Era of Madison County, it is one of nearly 100 stone houses built during that time in the area. We absolutely loved our stay! Being surrounded by nature was so peaceful, we hiked the trail behind the house, did a little fishing at the pond, and ended our nights by the fireplace under the stars. The house itself is so cozy and well equipped, it really felt like a home away from home. We’re already talking about coming back soon!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful, comfortable and reminded us of times spent on the farm when we were young. The setting is gorgeous. We enjoyed the sunsets, birds and cool breezes from the porch swing. Highly recommend!
