Go to the mountains and highlands during the day, and the tranquility of Satoyama at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. As a base for sightseeing in Azumino and Hakuba and Kamikochi, you can stay comfortably from one night to consecutive nights. Access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama Kurobe is also good, making it possible for group trips, family trips, and long-term stays.There is a washing machine and dryer, and it is comfortable for consecutive nights. You can also come by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient. Free pick-up and drop-off is available at Shinano Matsukawa Station and Meisha Station.Other transfers and sightseeing transfers are available for ¥2,000 to ¥8,000 (return) within 2 hours one-way.For more than 5 people, please consult in advance to accommodate car rental. The cottage has an atrium tatami mat living room for families and friends to gather. The three bedrooms are clean and warm, and all rooms are relaxing. There is a Japanese-style room on the ground floor and a total of 3 bedrooms, 2 large and 1 small, on the second floor. During the snow season, it is in a great location just a 5-minute walk to the 6th lift of the Tangram Ski Circus, with excellent access to the ski slopes. Famous ski resorts such as Myoko area ski resorts, Nozawa Onsen, and Roketa Alpine Resort are also 30-40 minutes away by car. It is the perfect place for those who want to enjoy winter activities. In the green season, you can enjoy water activities such as kayaking, SUP, and fishing at Lake Nojiri, which is a 5-minute drive away. Enjoy the great outdoors of Shinano-cho.

Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example.
