Go to the mountains and highlands during the day, and the tranquility of Satoyama at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. As a base for sightseeing in Azumino and Hakuba/Kamikochi, you can enjoy a comfortable stay for one night or more. With easy access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama Kurobe, it is suitable for group trips, family vacations, and long-term stays.With a washing machine and a bathroom dryer, it is comfortable for extended stays. You can also come by public transportation, but it is more convenient if you have a car. Free shuttle service is available to and from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station.Other pick-up and drop-off services, as well as sightseeing transfers, are available for 2,000 to 8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, provided the journey is within 2 hours each way.Please contact us in advance for car rental for 5 or more people. The cottage has an atrium tatami mat living room for families and friends to gather. The three bedrooms are clean and warm, and all rooms are relaxing. There is a Japanese-style room on the ground floor and a total of 3 bedrooms, 2 large and 1 small, on the second floor. During the snow season, it is in a great location just a 5-minute walk to the 6th lift of the Tangram Ski Circus, with excellent access to the ski slopes. Famous ski resorts such as Myoko area ski resorts, Nozawa Onsen, and Roketa Alpine Resort are also 30-40 minutes away by car. It is the perfect place for those who want to enjoy winter activities. In the green season, you can enjoy water activities such as kayaking, SUP, and fishing at Lake Nojiri, which is a 5-minute drive away. Enjoy the great outdoors of Shinano-cho.

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
