Holiday rentals with beach access in Madeira

We loved our stay in Antonio’s apartment. It was extremely clean and spacious and had everything we needed and then some. It even had a parking garage for our car. I appreciated that Antonio provided plenty of coffee, soap, shampoo and even laundry detergent. That was really nice and convenient. I loved sitting on the deck overlooking the gorgeous ocean view drinking my coffee or sipping a glass of wine. It was so relaxing! I highly recommend booking Antonio’s place. He is a superb, kind host and will go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and happy.

we hebben 10 nachten verbleven in het appartement van Mara, een groot mooi en heel proper appartement op de 5de verdieping wat zorgd voor een mooi uitzicht op zee.Mara reageerde altijd en zeer snel, ik kan het appartement in Santa Cruz zeer aanbevelen en ligt vlak bij de luchthaven .Santa Cruz is een aangenaam klein stadje met een ontspanne sfeer, een aanrader voor wie niet van de drukte van BV Funchal houd.

Wir haben gefragt ob wir Das Gepäck auch vor check-in abstellen können. Das war flexibel möglich. Die Unterkunft ist modern, sauber und man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Vielen Dank für diese tolle Erfahrung !

Superbe petit appartement en front d’océan, on ne peut pas faire plus proche. La vue du petit balcon est donc exceptionnelle et le bruit des vagues vous berce pour une déconnexion totale. Appartement fonctionnel, arrivée en autonomie, parking disponible gratuitement à à peine 50m à pieds. Appartement climatisé pour ceux dont le bruit de l’océan dérange fenêtres ouvertes.

Die Wohnung und die Aussicht sind beispiellos und bieten alles was man braucht. Die Autobahn und den Flughafen hört man zwar, allerdings ist die Geräuschkulisse überschaubar und überhaupt nicht störend. Ein ganz großer Pluspunkt an Fátima und José, die beide überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend waren. Sie baten jederzeit Unterstützung an und waren sofort erreichbar. Ein ganz großes Dankeschön an die beiden!

à notre arrivée nous avons été très bien accueilli par Ana. Elle nous a tout expliqué et nous avons même pu arriver un peu en avance dans l'appartement. Elle nous a donné des conseils de visite, de restaurant, et aussi elle nous a indiqué le supermarché le plus proche. Ana a été au top !!! L'appartement est parfait, il y a tout ce qu'il faut même encore plus que ce qu'on avait imaginé. Merci pour tout! Nous avons pu profiter à fond de cette île magnifique . Et Gabriel a passer quasiment toute ses soirées dans la piscine 😄 merci encore de notre part à tous les 3

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Germano. Ce sont ses parents qui gèrent le logement, et ils ont été aux petits soins pour que notre séjour se passe parfaitement ! Merci encore. Le logement est impeccable, spacieux, parfaitement équipé. La vue est superbe et la piscine un vrai plus ! Il y a plein de bons restaurants autours, nous avons apprécié le calme et le côté très paisible de jardim do mar avec de jolies balades. On a eu du mal à partir ! Une adresse pépite si vous cherchez un lieu unique à Madère pour vos vacances !

What a wonderful place to stay and for us perfect location to explore beautiful Madeira. 6 of us stayed for 1 week, the accommodation was perfect with various areas to spread out. We spent most of our evenings around the pool side, playing games and soaking up the views. The home has everything a family would need to enjoy your stay. Local shops, cafes and restaurants 10min walk up hill. Fully recommend if you are able to take a 1 day jeep tour of the island as Madeira has some spectacular scenery, valleys, mountains, villages and locations to explore. Contact with the host was effortless and always quick with responding. We loved our stay.

Pedro war sehr hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Er gab uns auch einige gute Tipps. Das einzige was wir ein bisschen kritisieren müssen, ist die Möblierung. Manche Möbelstücke sind schon in die Jahre gekommen. Diese gehören unserer Meinung nach mal ausgetauscht.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le logement ! (famille de 6 personnes) Celui-ci est bien situé, une belle vue, endroit très paisible et privé. Il est très bien équipé, piscine chauffée (pour 30€/J), barbecue disponible, très spacieux et propre. Ce qui en fait un très bon rapport qualité-prix. On recommande !

logement trés bien équipé de la cuisine aux détails, tels que plaids pour les soirées fraiches, parasol pour la plage, salon de jardin, barbecue..... un superbe jardin avec superbe vue sur coucher de soleil...

Ein tolles Haus in wunderschöner Lage! Näher am Meer geht nicht und das Meeresrauschen begleitet einen Tag und Nacht. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und super sauber. Man fühlt sich sofort wie zu Hause! Constantino ist sehr hilfsbereit und hat tolle Tipps. Ohne ihn hätten wir den kleinen Strand in Seixal nie gefunden... Wir waren 14 Tage hier und haben jede Minute genossen. Danke, Constantino!

Die gemütliche Unterkunft war sehr ruhig gelegen am oberen Ortsende. Die Aussicht war wunderschön. Zu Fuß konnte man die Bar Picadinho erreichen. Hier gibt es guten Kaffee, leckeren Poncha und allerhand zu essen. Daneben liegt eine Poncha-Bar. Für alles andere benötigt man ein Auto. An den rauchigen Geruch haben wir uns schnell gewöhnt. Da wir nur vier Tage dort waren, haben wir Johnny (sehr freundlich und prima erreichbar) nicht gefragt, ob es eine Möglichkeit gegeben hätte, das Duschwasser etwas wärmer zu bekommen. Es war nicht kalt, aber für unser Empfinden hätten es ein paar Grad mehr sein dürfen… Alles in Allem gemütlicher Aufenthalt. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Appartement en bord de mer, on ne peut mieux faire ! Le bruit des vagues et la vue sur la mer sont très agréables. L’appartement était très propre et conforme à la description. Le lave-main dans la salle de bain est petit mais cela ne nous a pas incommodé. Du linge de toilette à disposition. Le garage est un gros avantage. Nous avons adoré séjourner dans ce merveilleux petit village.

We travelled from the Azores to Madeira and later around mainland Portugal - this was by far our favourite place to stay during our honeymoon. Likely the best AirBnb we have stayed in to date. Duarte was a gem! He was helpful, generous, and delightful to be around. Google Maps brought us to another location but Duarte was incredibly responsive and we were quickly able to navigate Arco da Calheta. He offered vegetables from his garden and a beautiful welcome basket - we could barely finish all of the amazing bananas and eggs that he gifted us! The house was so well-equipped that we did not want for anything - the night we made espada BBQ in the outdoor kitchen was one of the highlight meals of our trip. This place was a beautiful and sunny sanctuary during our trip; we even cancelled several Levada walks to spend more time by the pool overlooking the ocean at home. If we could do it all again, we would book more time here.

Danke an Joana und Juan für den herzlichen Empfang in eurer Unterkunft. Die lokalen Tipps von Juan waren toll und das Appartement hat alles, was man braucht. Die Ausstattung ist hervorragend und alles ist in bestem Zustand. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Eine schöne Unterkunft mit einem tollen Ausblick auf das Meer. Lauren und André waren immer erreichbar und haben sich schnell um unsere Fragen und Angelegenheiten gekümmert. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

A lovely apartment: convenient, well-situated and pleasant views. Good location if you have a hire car; Funchal isn’t far at all, and there are many local shops and restaurants. Host-wise, unless you speak a little Portuguese, it can be slightly difficult; Jose is happy to call and speak for his mother. Very friendly and welcoming!!!

Der Check-inn hat gut geklappt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können die Wohnung empfehlen. Parkplatz war vorhanden im Hof, ansonsten wäre es schlecht gewesen einen Parkplatz zu finden. Neben dem Eingang war ein kleiner Laden, auch ideal. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Great apartment. Everything as described. Tip...bring some shower/bath gel or buy some locally. There was only little bottles of shampoo. This was to start you off when you arrived, but, if you feel like a shower after a long journey it would be nice to have just a couple of small bottles of gel just for the initial shower or bath. It was quite noisy when we stayed with very loud building works with an excavator loading and crashing rocks and boulders into the lorries and travelling right past the apartment loaded with all of those 🥺 This was at the front of the apartment, so although we couldn't use the balcony there: thankfully the bedroom was at the rear of the property, so a lie in was possible when the work started early in the morning. However, this may not be the case for any future guests as they may have finished the works before they arrive. Other than this problem, we had a great time on this beautiful island ( our 8th visit and our first time in self catering)

Superbe appartement ! Parfait pour un séjour a Madère. Le logement est tout équipé avrc une salle de bain par chambre ce qui est très pratique pour un groupe de voyageurs, la résidence avec piscine est un vrai plus. Je recommande fortement ce logement. Hôte disponible pour toute question.

This was one of the best air bnbs we stayed in on our trip to Europe. It had everything you could possibly need and the view from the patio was amazinf especially at sunset. Also the host Jose and his wife were so sweet and gave us lots of reccomendations. Could not have asked for a more perfect stay and we will be back.
