It is about a 10-minute drive to Arakawa and Iwabata, where you can descend the Nagatoro Line. It is dotted with historic temples, so it is recommended to visit the power spots. You can actively move your body with paragliding, kayaking, rafting, and SUP experiences, or rent a bicycle and take a leisurely ride through the town. Nagatoro has many delicious udon and soba shops. Harvesting chestnuts, grapes, Nagatoro strawberries, and more is also fun. If you're lucky, you'll see an SL train running on the Chichibu Railway, which runs parallel to the national highway! A 50-second walk from the log house, about 90 steps to the trampoline park (reservation required) where you can play with your children to your heart's content, and have an early BBQ dinner in the garden. In the evening, if the weather is good, you can talk quietly around the fire under the stars, or have some grown-up time relaxing while watching the flames of the wood stove, with the lights in the room turned off. The kitchen is equipped with an IH stove, cookware, dishes, a microwave, an electric pot, and a fridge. It has a drum-type washing machine with a drying function, so it is convenient for long-term stays. It is on the second floor of a three-story building, and you will use the entire floor. There is also a desk that can be used for remote work and studying. There is a projector, so you can enjoy YouTube and movies on a big screen. It is very convenient because you can go to a large supermarket, drug store, fast food store, 100-yen store, post office, and money exchange shop in 1-2 minutes on foot. You can get to Urawa Misono Station, Saitama Stadium, Meijiro University, and Higashi-Chikagaguchi Station on a single bus ride. Omiya Station and Kasukabe Station are also 10 minutes away by train, providing good access to the Saitama Super Arena, Kawagoe, Railway Museum, Tobu Zoo, Skytree, and Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Shibuya, and Ueno. Close to Tobu Shim-Imaichi Station, you might even hear the steam whistle of the Taiki if you're lucky in the evening. 8-tatami Japanese-style room (bamboo room), 6-tatami Japanese-style room (temple style), 8-tatami living room (retro style) IH kitchen, microwave, toaster, rice cooker, fridge, washing machine, gas dryer, etc. are fully equipped, so you can use this place as a base for sightseeing in Nikko, Kinugawa, Ashio, and Kuriyama. There is also a parking lot, making it ideal for touring with fellow bikers. Breakfast is a free loaf of freshly baked bread (home bakery). Mountain Biking, Calligraphy, Games, BBQ (The usage fee for charcoal is 2,000 yen per use. Dishes are available for rent, so please prepare your ingredients at a nearby supermarket.)
