A double story with the bedroom on the first floor ( mind the steps) and the fully self-catering living space and bathroom, downstairs. Zwakala River Cabin 1

Zwakala is truly a portal to heaven right here on earth. We actually had the honeymoon suite and it was sheer bliss. The sound of the river continuously had us at peace — then paired with that soft king bed, we genuinely lost track of days in our little cabin in the woods. It was the perfect reset getaway. We also took a walk along the river and in the surrounding forests with no issue. I was ready for the combination of river, forest and cabin to mean mosquitoes but had absolutely no issues. We did have moths and crickets visit but nothing ever harmful. This truly was a beautiful stay! I want to thank the entire team 🤍✨

A very cozy space with a very beautiful view. We arrived to a fire going in the fire place and candles lit, which was so lovely. When the mist cleared, we were treated to a spectacular view. Eva is very helpful and responsive - so even when we got a bit lost finding the place, it wasn’t an issue. Very close to Zwakala Brewery and Mina’s farm venue - where we were headed for a wedding.

Josie is a lovely, communicative host. We checked in later than expected, but Josie made an effort to come and greet us the following day. The location is AMAZING! So peaceful, and we felt right at home. It’s even more special to us now, as we got engaged at this beautiful place, and it will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We definitely recommend Josie’s beautiful cabin to anyone wishing to get away from the norm and unwind. We absolutely plan to be back in the future!

What an amazing find! This is an absolute hidden gem for those who love nature and their creature comforts. The bath outside was totally unexpected but so worth it. We discovered the hot tub a little to late… and could not get it hot enough before bed time… but will for sure be back to try that out! Thank you for having us, it was a big spoil.
