Eva's Roost is a rustic zen-style cottage on the property of Center For Lost Arts in Cobden. Nestled in the hillside the roost gives a sense of oneness with nature. No curtains allow a complete experience of nature: forest, pond, stars, moonrise, sunrise, birds & animals. Paul is the architect of everything you see. Bonnie offers Mindful Living sessions & facilitates individual/group retreats at the main house. Together they offer Eva's Roost for you to enjoy - a cozy cabin all your own.
“The cabin was a perfect retreat for our small family. We had everything we needed to be cozy and comfortable while we unplugged and enjoyed a few days taking in the natural beauty around us. Out our windows we were able to observe lots of birds and other creatures. It was magical! Bonnie and Paul were attentive and helped us whenever needed and otherwise we were left to enjoy ourselves.”

“I love my stay at Rebecca's place! It is really quiet and private. It is truly beautiful and a great place to enjoy nature time. An absolute rest and getaway for a city girl like me. The house is filled with sunshine most of time during the day, but still feels very cool and comfortable temperature wise. I love the balcony and backyard. I even saw a deer once, running through the back. Very thoughtful little things for everyday living, such as zip loc bags, aluminium foil, and food wraps, that you absolutely need but would never thought of bringing. Rebecca is a great host, very kind and responsive. She provides detailed answers during the booking process, instructions for check-in, and daily activities. The location is perfect for hiking trips during the day with the closest trials within 10 mins drive and famous sites about half an hour drive. Nearby town for gas and groceries within 15 minutes drive as well.”
This is our home office that we have converted into a studio apt. It is one block off of downtown and an easy walk to a coffee shop, pizza restaurant, and antique shop. Since it was an office we have a full desk with computer and printer if you need it. Sorry but absolutely no pets.
“My wife and I stayed at Bradley's studio apartment for our trip to the Shawnee National Forest, and it was perfect... Great price, convenient location, comfortable and stylish interior and very easy checkin and communication. As the description says, it is in a very small town, but not far at all from a couple of larger towns with all the basics for food, shopping, etc.”
