Farmstay holiday rentals in Malta

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine dans le logement de Joanna très bien situé, très propre et ou nous manquions de rien dans ce cadre paisible autour de la piscine.

Jayne's recipe for a successful holiday stay: Find a truly stunning location. Increase the temperature to nice and hot with every day blue skies and sun. Let this sit for a while by the pool. Gather together a mixture of guests from all over the world. Jostle them around for a bit with some private some shared bathrooms just as it works out. Watch the resulting communication ferment and rise to a nice fluffy dough. Bring it to the table at breakfast, add a fantastic food spread of options for starting the day, beautifully presented, just as you wish. At this stage it is optional to decide if you would like to add in an evening meal which is highly recommended. Don't forget the glass of wine or other beverages on offer. Remember they taste better shared with others so do not take them or other food into your private room. After all we are not concerned here with making a hotel! At this stage it is advised to take the opportunity to learn to dive, have an archaeological guided walk or anything else your hosts can organise for you as they will do so willingly. You are nearly ready to enjoy your stay. But for the truly adventurous, they may want to add a few bits to spice things up like the absence of Tony, the chef, some awkward guests or Jayne injuring her back. After all this is a true life home from home experience, which in my mind is what airbnb is, and should, be all about. Now put your swimsuit on, set the timer of your holiday and then forget about time all together. There is nothing else to do but enjoy!

Un havre de paix avec une magnifique vue. Mattia nous attendu à une heure tardive et était déjà dehors pour nous accueillir lorsque nous sommes arrivés. Bel accueil avec tout le nécessaire voir plus dans l hébergement. Il nous a conseillé des endroits à visiter, de même que sa copine Catherine. Je recommande +++

We all thoroughly enjoyed staying at Hofra. The kids loved the pool and we loved the adequately stocked kitchen and barbecue. The two sides of the house made it perfect for two families to be together yet independent. Altogether a very functional and pleasant accommodation 👍🏽

It was a pleasure and a privilege to stay as a family in this beautiful villa. It was spacious and so interesting, filled with artefacts and art work that set off the historic appeal of the property. All of the rooms were spacious and characterful and the pool and patio were wonderful to relax in when the family wanted to be outside. In addition, the kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed to accommodate our fairly large family group. The beds were also comfortable as were the sofas etc. Paul was a helpful and responsive host and I appreciated his patience whenever I had a query about something, such as recycling etc. Gharb is a charming and picturesque place to stay and the ferry to cross over to Malta was an easy distance to drive. The villa, and indeed the whole island of Gozo, was both tranquil and beautiful. I will remember this holiday fondly for years to come.

We had a wonderful time staying here. The house is very spacious and perfect for a family with a beautiful pool which was great for relaxing and having fun. It’s just a short distance to the beach which made everything very convenient. The host was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions. I’d highly recommend this house to anybody visiting Malta.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt bei Jayne und Tony. Die Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und gut gelegen. Tony ist ein hervorragender Koch, der uns ein wunderbares Abendessen gezaubert hat und uns jeden Morgen mit leckerem Kaffee und Frühstück versorgt hat. Die Lage ist auch wirklich gut. Man kann super parken und ist sofort an allen interessanten Plätzen auf Gozo. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder.

Absolutely amazing place, squeaky clean and friendly hosts ! We were a group of 9 adults and enjoyed every moment. Worth the price and great location. Thanks again for hosting us :)

We had a great stay. The hosts were helpful and responsive, the house is very nice and kids had a great time in the pool. There’s a beautiful beach 25min walking that is totally worth going (you can also drive).

Everything was great!Very clean,cozy place. We were check in late evening and Claire welcomed us with bread and water in case we didn't have one. Pool is perfect -for both -adults and children. We will return! Claire is such a lovely lady. Thanks for these special days we were staying there!

The place is more beautiful than it looks, everything you need and so peaceful, and watching the sun set over the sea and the stars come out to the festival fireworks was amazing. The location is brilliant, it’s easy to get to from Malta on the ferry, Victoria just down the road has the citadel and lots of restaurants and the village has a shop and a couple of restaurants within walking distance. The pool was perfect for us. The owner did his best when the aircon went in the main bedroom and was proactive and friendly in getting it fixed as quickly as he could, and let us check out late which was very kind. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Firstly Kevin is an absolutely amazing host, communication was fantastic and he went above and beyond. The house was traditional as expected the pool was very clean and warm. The location is great with 2 restaurants a coffee shop a selection of artisan shops and 2 supermarkets (one is very small corner shop but had pretty much everything you could need), within 5/10 minutes walking distance. It is worth noting that this isn’t a country side villa. The rear of the property does face out onto rural views but the front is onto the village street, so in the downstairs bedroom you can hear the traffic, we completely got used to this and the benefits of being in a village location far outweighed this very small negative. Overall we had a fantastic stay, thank you so much for an amazing holiday.

Havre de paix sur une île magique. Maison immense traditionnelle avec toutes les commodités. Nous avons séjourné à deux familles avec 3 ados et 2 enfants sans se marcher dessus. L’extérieur est très agréable. Il faut par contre bien se garer au garage car se garer dans la rue étroite nous a valu des contraventions… Mais enfin pas grave le séjour etait magique.

We had a lovely week at Gina's apartment. The apartment was super clean and very comfortable with beautiful views of the sea. Gina was very helpful and gave great recommendations. She always responded quickly and was very relaxed when our baby accidentally broke something. The area was very family friendly and the beach was less than 5 minutes walk away. Also the bus stop was just outside the apartment, and lots of restaurants close by. We would definitely recommend.

We were a group made of 2 families with children from 4 to 7 years old and grandparents. The farmhouse is beautiful and large with amazing gardens and hidden places for little adventurers. Gives privacy and allows for eating together. Beautifully decorated. Quiet location. Felt safe. The weather in October was fantastic. We were snorkelling in wetsuits. Swimming in a sea. Visiting cities.

Great value for money place in Gozo. The house was very clean and cared for. The pool is a very nice addition. We briefly met Reuben and he was friendly. While the house is shared with other travelers, you barely see them due to the layout of the house and availability of different common areas. Thank you Reuben!

Spacious, modern apartment with great amenities. The three bedrooms all consist of double beds and en suite bathrooms, whilst the balconies provided great outdoor space.

Empfehlenswert. Sehr idyllisches Haus mit toller Gartenanlage, wunderschönem Pool, Whirlpool und Grillbereich. Der Geruch im Haus war gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Kammeras im Garten und Poolbereich waren irritierend. Für Deutsche befremdlich, für Maltesen wohl normal. Die Lage nahe des Golden Beach ist spitze, wenn auch nur motorisiert erreichbar.
