Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Malta

David’s place is really a gem. It is in the middle of interesting area. The place is great, spotless and private. We recommend and would come back if we are in Malta.

There is something magical about staying in the heart of Mdina!! And despite the impracticalities, we’d happily do it again!! This place is a real unique find!!!! We loved being able to walk around after the tourists had left and enjoy the magic of the place. It’s really ‘money can’t buy’ stuff. The property is exactly as described - not for you if you want luxury and all the modern conveniences - it’s quirky and a bit of an odd layout. It can also be a bit of a challenge with parking/traffic - we struggled one day and can’t imagine what it might be like in the height of summer. Would highly recommend coming up the back way to Greek’s Gate via Triq l-Għarreqin. I would say from 7am - 9pm it can be quite loud, but we were out and about so didn’t bother us. It may sound like we’re being negative, but we’re not… we just think this property deserves guests who appreciate it for what it is and don’t expect it to be something else. Lovely place to stay and the pool was a great addition to our stay. Throughly enjoyed our time here and is a lovely place to stay. Within walking distance of some really nice restaurants and not a far walk into Valletta at all.

Perfect place to stay when visiting Rabat and Mdina. The location was perfect and the area felt really safe and peaceful. The photographs of this listing don’t do it justice and the sunlight hits the skylights beautifully. Air con really easy to use and was very effective.

Malta ist immer einen Besuch Wert, aber Gozo hat die Position der ruhigen und grünen Seite der Inseln. Und inmitten des Herzens von Gozo in Viktoria befindet sich in einer ruhigen, zentralen Seitenstrasse im Stile eines 'house of character' das Apartment von Rowen. Wer dort einkehrt, wohnt nicht nur zur Miete, sondern lebt dort die Zeit, die er dort verbringt: grüßende Nachbarn, alle Annehmlichkeiten des täglichen Lebens sind in der Umgebung wie Restaurants, Eisdiele, Supermarkt (beste Austern!!), und vom Zentrum kommt man an jeden Punkt der Insel in weniger als 20 Minuten. Rowan ist ein perfekter Gastgeber, das Apartment ist 1A gepflegt, es fehlt an nichts incl. allem nötigen Beiwerk zum kochen wie Öl, Salz und Pfeffer. Das mag eine Kleinigkeit sein, aber es ist immer sehr unangenehm, wenn man diese Dinge erst selber für ein paar Tage einkaufen muss. Mein Tip: eine klare Empfehlung, einfach ausprobieren!

Gianluca was very responsive and answered all my queries. I felt very comfortable dealing with him. Allowed an earlier check in and a later checkout . I would highly recommend this place !

Dom ma niesamowity klimat, szczególnie wrażenie robi taras, okna i basen. Środek wygląda lepiej niż na zdjęciach. Gospodarz był elastyczny co do godzin zameldowania i wymeldowania co było ogromnym plusem.

This place is absolutely stunning. So peaceful, both inside and out in the beautiful garden. Authentic & historic. The local village and area are very interesting to walk around - I recommend the Zebbug loop (if you don't mind a steep hill!) Very well stocked, even a bottle of prosecco was provided, beach towels, etc. Ana was very helpful, recommending local beaches and restaurants, and always responsive, kindly allowing me a late checkout on the last day. My one comment, as someone else has said, is it should be made clearer in the description that the place is all really one room, with no real separation between bedroom, kitchen and living room. This doesn't matter if you are 1 or 2, but may affect groups of 3 depending on their makeup, as there is no real privacy.

Beautiful place in a great location, excellent value. It was wonderful to discover Gozo with such a nice base to come back to.

Siamo stati ospiti in questa splendida penthouse per una settimana e ne siamo rimasti entusiasti. L'ambiente pulito ed ordinato rispecchiava perfettamente la descrizione e le foto. La posizione in zona tranquilla ma poco distante dal centro (12 Min circa a piedi) è veramente deliziosa. Piscina e terrazzo rappresentano un vero plus in questa splendida struttura e la posizione in collina consente di godere di un bellissimo panorama. Comunicazioni ed indicazioni da parte dell'Host chiare, cordiali e reattive ci hanno aiutato ad essere sempre a nostro agio. Un'esperienza fantastica! Grazie di tutto! Speriamo di poter essere vostri ospiti ancora una volta!

Rowen was a fantastic host. He met us and went through the instructions showed us where everything was. The apartment is absolutely beautiful, so clean. The little pool was adequately heated, it’s too small to swim in, but lovely to chill and look at the lovely views. Unfortunately on our 1st day the builder next door decided to do some drilling at 7 am in the morning. For the inconvenience, Rowen did not charge us the €20 for the heating of the pool and the tax. Albeit we were there for two days To relax after being in Villetta for five days, it is what we needed. It’s not located near the beach (25-30mins walking) there are some supermarket right downstairs but we chose to take a 25 minute walk down into the town and have more options of restaurants. Bolt is really accessible so you don’t have to walk if you don’t need to. It does have a busy roundabout out front but your are pretty high up (4th floor) so it did not bother us.

Nuestra estancia ha sido perfecta! La ubicación esta genial muy bien comunicado y a 10 minutos a pie de una estación central. El alojamiento estaba súper limpio y con todo lo que puedas necesitar. No nos faltó nada, Clive es muy amable y esta disponible para cualquier cosa que necesitáramos. Sin duda repetiríamos alojamiento, al rededor hay supermercados y tiendas locales para comprar cualquier cosa que puedas necesitar y es una zona muy tranquila y agradable. Un 10 para nosotros!

We stayed in Matthews place as a stopover on it way to Gozo, I would have been very happy staying longer than the one night. We arrived at 11pm but check in was easy following the precise instructions sent to us. Everything we needed for a short stay was there, restaurants, cafes, beach etc were on the doorstep and I can't recommend the accommodation enough.

Le logement est exactement comme sur les photos mais la vue est beaucoup plus incroyable en vrai ! Un vrai petit bonheur à xlendi. À y revenir, on reviendrait dans le même logement, c’était même dure de le quitter tellement la terrasse et la vue est agréable à n’importe quel moment de la journée ☺️ Tout est très bien équipé et les prises adapté était très apprécié ! Seul petit bémol, les 5 étages sans ascenseurs et des escaliers étroits mais j’ai un bébé de presque 2 ans et ça s’est fait ! Donc il y a pas de raisons que ça ne se fasse pas pour vous aussi ☺️ Et un grand merci à Godwin car c’est un super hôte très disponible ! Merci pour tout !

As coming to Malta for the first time I was worried a bit. Location turn out out to be a perfect spot, close to centre but away from traffic and noise yet close by bus stop. Accommodation was neat and clean. The hosts were v nice, friendly and really helpful with information and advices. We enjoyed our stay and hopefully will come back. Big thank you from us.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au sein de cet appartement. Le logement était propre, nous avons pu arriver très facilement de manière autonome. Le logement est très bien situé, dans un quartier très typique et proche de la mer et des transports publics. Nous recommandons !

Our stay was very pleasant, the check-in was easy and the host responded very quickly. There is a supermarket close-by which had everything you could possibly need. And the terasse was very nice, but during the day it was a bit too hot out there so some kind of sunshade would be welcome. Everything was like the pictures and description.

We only spent 2 nights but this place was great! Very nice spacious apartment.

Lewis was amazing, considerate and attentive. Communication was immaculate and super supportive he’s the best Airbnb host I have had, the place was just as amazing as the apartment itself, definitely worth the price and much more.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, plus some lovely extras like fresh coffee and an ironing board. The washing machine’s 15-minute cycle was especially handy for a quick turnaround of clothes. The views from the apartment were extraordinary, both during the day and at night. We didn’t use any of the common areas of the apartment block and wouldn’t have used the pool, so we can’t comment on those. The apartment was ideal for our holiday. We had a car and spent our 10-day stay exploring Gozo and Malta with ease. We would happily stay again if the mattress is replaced—it was very, very uncomfortable. Aside from that it was a great stay. Thank you!

Joseph and Alex were extremely kind and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the area was beautiful. Joseph provided everything we needed - we had cheese eggs and his signature sourdough bread when we arrived. We had a toddler with us and Joseph provided everything we needed for our toddler to have a comfortable stay. I would thoroughly recommend staying here - absolutely mind-blowing!

Znakomity wybór, polecany stokrotnie. Szczególne podziękowania dla wspaniałych gospodarzy. Duża troska i pomoc dla gości.Ray po zameldowaniu zawiózł nas do sklepu. Pomógł wnieść bagaże. Jesteśmy starszą para i ta uprzejmość i empatia bardzo nas wzruszyła. Za co od serca dziękujemy. Bardzo łatwa komunikacja z gospodarzem. Miejsce łatwo znaleźć. Nieskazitelnie czyste wszystkie pomieszczenia. Zmiana ręczników, mycie okien po ulewnym deszczu ! Wszystkie urządzenia sprawne i zgodnie z opisem. Jest wszystko czego potrzebujesz do przygotowania posiłku. Piękna okolica do zwiedzania, dobre miejsce do spacerów, restauracje, bary i kioski. Komunikacyjne połączenie z miejscowościami Gozo bardzo dobre. Autobusy przy terminalu promowym 2-3 minuty. Autobus 301 do Viktori/ Rabat regularnie co dwadzieścia minut. Widok z balkonu! Widok na morze, port, wyspę Comino, Maltę. Niezapomniany spektakl, zwłaszcza kąpiące się konie. A przede wszystkim niezapomniani gospodarze. Dziękujemy. Grazyna i Teodor.

Amazing water views…..and the apartment had everything needed for an extended stay.

Spacious and modern apartment, within walking distance to all the things to do and see in Valletta. There are a few steps to navigate as you enter the apartment but well communicated in the listing. Really enjoyed the convenience, we stayed for only a short trip but there was a washer included which is perfect for longer trips. Highly recommended!
