Alpha was a great host, he speaks fluently English and responds very quickly to messages and wants to help you in anyway he can, it is very much appreciated. His house felt like a home away from home :). The house was spotlessly clean when we checked in. The house is slightly outside of the city centre of Pita, but no more than a 20-25 min walk, close by to the house (near the bridge) you can get a moto taxi, whether you want to take that into the city or to the waterfalls like we did :). Highly recommended this accommodation!

Sweet Village Life

Let's face it, as far as Guinea goes, Conakry has a lot to offer. But if you're looking for the subtle beauties of the REAL Guinea, you have to go inland. Saramoussaya offers a good look at genuine village life. In my house I have a real bed with a mosquito net, a solar panel for charging phones, computers etc. And although there is no running water, I've rigged up a hand/dish washing sink and an overhead shower. I also have a gas stove for cooking. Plus, my next door neighbor is a baker :)

New house with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, garage and fully equipped annex (bedroom/living room). The house has a borehole, solar panels and a generator. The house is equipped with a fridge, a washing machine, a water heater, a TV and furniture for each room. It is very bright and there is a security guard 24 hours a day.

The house is impeccable, very well located, offering exceptional comfort for Guinea well above the local hotel conditions. We highly recommend it. Very friendly and welcoming host . The caretaker Mr Bah is very helpful and caring.
