We don't have a swimming pool but we have the truffle ground, the stream, the roe deer, porcupines, wild boars, our cats and the little dog Moti. In the garden, you will find herbs, fruit, and garden produce. Inside the cottage we rent, you will have our olive oil and helichrysum liqueur that we produce. We also produce saffron, but we sell it! Of course, pets are welcome!

The rustic room had so much charm and comfort, and the property itself was amazing, with not one but two beautiful pools to relax by. One of the highlights was the on-site restaurant. The free breakfast was far beyond the typical offering—not just muffins, but a full, authentic Italian breakfast that we looked forward to each morning. Dinner was just as impressive, showcasing delicious local flavors and warm hospitality. It was also a great jumping-off point for exploring the region—we took a lovely day trip to Siena with ease. Renato’s place was very extraordinary. We had the entire villa to ourselves. Our 2 bedroom was perfect for our stay. Renato was a great host and was very helpful when we couldn’t find his place right away. He brought us delicious pastries on several occasions. We were in town for a wedding and the villa was not far from the venue. I would recommend this villa to anyone who is looking for some peace and quiet. It can accommodate several families at one time

The Wine Loft is incredibly peaceful and beautiful. The modern architecture is gorgeous and the views are magical. We traveled by trains and it was easy to take a taxi (arranged by the Wine Loft) from the station. Additionally, we enjoyed walking the country path through the woods and meadow to Bagno Vignoni. We highly recommend this beautiful property. The wines were a phenomenal addition to the stay.

We had the most wonderful time here. It’s a magical place—the apartment, the grounds, the scenic views, the atmospheric town of Anghiari—it all weaves together into a rich experience of time gone by, when people took life slowly and savored it. The decor in the apartment harmonized beautifully with its old stone building but was also very comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, with everything needed for serving, and the beds were great. Daniele, the host, is considerate, warm, thoughtful, helpful in every way and an entertaining storyteller too. Place is well-situated for exploring local offerings, including churches, museums and monasteries, and there’s lovely woodland hiking not too far away. And very good regional Italian restaurants! All-in-all, one of the best travel experiences we have ever had. We were sad to leave!!

Franco and Cinzia are perfect hosts always trying to make their guests feeling welcome. The homemade bread and cakes were just sooo deliscious, and all the delicate Italian specialities in the fridge were fantastic. Mezzacosta feels like a home abroad. It is cozy and you definitely have all you need - and much more. You can relax in the garden, or experience the beautiful area. There are lots to see at a small distance. Anghieri is a very picturesque Medieval village and feels very local and Italian - our favorite. We definitely recommend to stay here.
