Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Mangualde

What a wonderful little estate setting to stay at. Beautiful surroundings all around, very private & peaceful. The apartment has a great layout with spectacular bathrooms and a huge kitchen & living room area. Carlos was quick to respond to any questions. The inground pool is lovely, sadly the weather was not hot enough for a dip. Great location with a quick 90min drive to Porto. Surrounding cities within 30 minutes like Viseu.

Our stay at Telmo's place was great. The house is beautiful, comfortable, very bright and functional. Beds are spacious and comfortable. There is enough space to store your clothes and suitcases. Like Spaniards, maybe we missed a few blinds. In the morning when the sun rose, there was a lot of light in the room right away. Toilets are large and showers are comfortable. The kitchen has everything and we were able to enjoy the BBQ. We also light the fireplace. We felt very comfortable and are planning to return very soon. Telmo has always been very attentive and looking to help us with everything. Thank you for everything

we stayed there for 1 week to our great delight! really nice house, with beautiful spaces! really great bedding. more than a perfect welcome and availability! nice to be able to manage the air conditioning in each room! available umbrella bed less than 5 minute drive to a Lidl. really great. only downsides a very small fridge for a large secure pool house and no bright terrace for the evening and a slightly feverish table.

Great days spent in the farm! It met expectations! Excellent place to rest, quiet! We made the meals practically all at home, taking advantage of all the conditions that the farm has to offer, equipped kitchen, coffee machine, barbecue outside! The house featured impeccably clean Wc, immaculate sheets! Message-responsive hosts and friendly and sensitive to our requests Let's go back!

If you are looking for a nice peaceful place to spend a few days, the accommodation is very nice and well-equipped. For the kitchen, you even have the basic condiments which is always appreciable. The only small downside is to plan for fly repellent.

Very beautiful home. Very nice hosts and a nice homemade breakfast as a bonus. No problem recommending this place to anyone traveling through this area.

Pros: The pictures don’t do justice to this beautifully renovated rustic stone house and its superb view over the mountains. It feels like a fairy tale. Huge territory, private, more than enough place for our group: 4 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs. New Year’s Eve at the house was special - we had a barbecue outside and could see fireworks lighting from all around us, from the different villages in the valleys, for several minutes. Paulo was responsive, and kind enough to leave us a bottle of homemade local wine. The linens and towels provided were clean and smelled great, as well as the house itself. Warm showers and perfect temperatures inside, even at this time of the year. Would definitely stay again. Cons: a couple of minor things, but worth mentioning. WiFi was not reliable, very unstable. Mattresses and pillows need some updating, not the most comfortable. Check-in/out times were not updated on Airbnb, it’s best to check with the host to avoid misunderstandings.

The photos don't do justice to the beauty and area of the house! Very nice space, with several leisure areas, interior patios, tastefully decorated! The area where the pool is located (500 meters from the accommodation, in a very nice park) is huge, with trampolines, swings, hammocks and dining tables. Juncais' location is perfect for trips to other locations in the Serra. We loved it!

Vasco has a great space for stay and leisure. Complete backyard with barbecue and pool is great for times with family and friends. Perfectly clean house, great bathrooms and well-equipped kitchen. Beautiful view to the Serra da Estrela and not far from this. Super recommended.

Beautiful and cozy house for a group of 7. The fireplace had been lit previously so the space was very comfortable when we arrived on a winter night. Thoughtful and kind host. I recommend it.

The only aspect that you can limit for longer stays and needs more luggage: there is no private parking and the street of the house is in a “historic” area, difficult to circulate cars. But the area is very beautiful, picturesque, and all the other great features of the house and hostess far outweigh this fact.

A group of 7 people, and we all loved the stay! The house is very good, we had a wonderful reception with Mr. Alfredo, super nice and made us feel comfortable with a nice conversation. The house is equipped with everything and was impeccable when we entered! The pool and barbecue area was where we spent most of our time, super nice and comfortable. We hope to return one day!!

Our stay was fantastic! The house is extremely comfortable and perfect for a group of friends. We took full advantage of the pool, barbecue and dining room. It is a house with beautiful and peaceful decor, ideal for relaxing and enjoying good times together. It allowed us to get out of the hustle and bustle of everyday life and have a good rest. Ideal house to rest with the family: extremely quiet, out of sight, possibility to enjoy the sun or to stay cool (air-conditioned bedrooms and living room), whether in the house or the garden. The house matches the photos perfectly, no complaints!

We loved stopping by this welcoming host. The house is spacious, the kitchen large and practical. We enjoyed the fireplace and the game of same, super nice and friendly. The house is far from the shops but we had a great pleasure to discover what to make a full breakfast: orange juice, cereals, yogurts, ham, cheese, butter, as well as a delicious homemade jam! And fresh bread was dropped off early in the morning by the owner. Thank you!

Very comfortable house, bigger than it looks in the photos. Extremely clean. D. Madalena is an excellent host, who does the check-in/out in person and even brought us more firewood. The garden is cute, but it's not fully fenced. It has air-conditioning in all rooms.
