A tranquil and relaxing retreat in its own right and ideally located for visiting local tourist attractions in the Vumba Mountains. A good spot for walkers and hikers, bird watchers and photographers. Perfect for couples, solo adventurers, families and groups. We are a 30 minute drive from Mutare and 45 minutes from the Mozambique border post. Please be advised that we recommend you using a high clearance vehicle or a 4x4. During the rainy season, some of the roads may have potholes.

Cozy cottage with fantastic views in Bvumba!

A cottage with two bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 4 guests. One king-sized and one queen-sized bed, one bathroom with a toilet, basin and a bathtub which can be used for a shower. The rest of the cottage consists of an open-plan kitchen and living area. The kitchen is small, has a gas and electric stove but it has everything you need. Outside there’s a braai (BBQ) area and a lovely wooden bench overlooking some of the best views of Vumba and surrounds.

Our home set in a serene, secure private village, complemented with it's own dam and wildlife. 4 large bedrooms and 4 baths to yourselves while you relax and enjoy what the Eastern Highlands has to offer. Pool table, ping pong, darts, and some board games, various tv channels, and the complimentary unlimited WI-FI will keep you entertained. KHH Stone Cottage at John Galt Village Main Gate

The lovely stone cottage has a stream nearby and amazing views. There is a barbaque/braai area. We use solar power only for lighting and sockets and gas for the hob and oven. This does not support microwave, or element based gadgets. Please book this if you're truly looking for a peaceful time to unwind and are a nature sort of person happy with antique type furnishings as in the photos. WiFi can be erratic due to mountain terrain.
