Karen’s place was great. She was such a responsive and kind host, and even gave us recommendations of things to check out in the area. The home was lovely and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place to others looking for a place to stay in the area!

This house is a perfect place for a weekend escape and has great cozy vibes to help make you feel refreshed after your stay. We have always wanted to visit Manistee in the winter and this house made our weekend getaway very special. It is close enough to downtown to walk and get coffee and visit the many restaurants and shops Manistee has to offer. It is also very close to Chopo’s Northside Bar which had live music on Saturday night and is always a welcoming space. Would love to come back and spend more time here.

Every time I approach a rental I've reserved, I feel a bit anxious and skeptical: will it match the description? will I have to convince myself "it's fine"? will the pictures on the listing be several years old or will they be edited so much that reality looks quite different? You know the feelings. Jessica's place was EXACTLY what I expected based on pictures, description and reviews. Clean and open and thoughtfully appointed. Extra things like a well stocked kitchen including several spices (we didn't do any cooking but I know how nice it is not to have to pack or buy every little thing!) and hangers in the closets, extra blankets in the living room, games in the cupboard, plenty of towels. It was such a comfortable home that felt intentional for hosting. Highly recommend. Didn't disappoint in the least.

We had a fantastic stay. The house is very comfortable. Bathroom and kitchen were stocked beyond my expectations! The best part, though, is the space in the back yard. Its set up for a quiet peaceful breakfast, a nice barbecue lunch, and a fun family bonfire. It is green, secluded, beautiful. Manastee area is amazing - no crowds, just a perfect beach and endless lake views, changing every hour. We loved the trip.

Absolutely loved this stay. Right up on Bear Lake, with kayaks, a fire pit, a great porch (we had so many family meals out there!), then a quiet cave-like sleeping experience since it is built into the hill. Our family can’t wait to come again :)

Very nice condo in a great Manistee location. Unfortunately, we had horrible weather. Mid-50s and cloudy/rainy the entire week until Friday. Oh well. Thank goodness for the indoor pool to keep the kids in our party occupied. The house has everything you could need and then some. It was very well stocked. Just as a point of information (not complaint), I had asked whether they had baby gear (high chair, portable crib) because my 6-month-old grandson was with us. They said they did not so I bought a portable high chair and crib for the trip. Turns out they do--a pack and play and full-size high chair are in the primary bedroom walk-in closet. I will keep what I bought for the next time they visit me, but I would not have rushed to get it if I knew they had those things. One suggestion: have a bin for recycling/returnables. We overfilled the garbage bin because there was nowhere to put cans, plastic bottles, etc. Overall, very happy with this place!

Manistee is home away from home! Lovely place with a great location for beach access & amazing sunsets! Close to town & great little area to take the pups for walks. Bring spices & cooking oils. They only have limited spices as listed. Also, I maybe would bring a couple pans & pots if you plan on cooking more than a basic, simple meal. I love to cook so I usually bring my own knives & pans. Really great stay & I would highly recommend!

Great location! Crystal Mountain was an easy walk from the home.

A wonderful place for a family ski trip. Roomy, comfortable, and close to slopes. Would definitely book again. Had everything we needed and very well kept.

Cute studio Condo that was perfect for 2 people and our dog Teddy. Close walk to marina and 5th Avenue beach. With windows open could hear Lake Michigan waves along with a cool beach breeze. Close to downtown restaurants and activities. Condo had cute beach themed decor and was stocked with everything we needed. Will definitely be back!

it was a wonderful 2 night stay with my wife and dog. the kitchen was fully stocked with gear, everything was in order, and lots of extras that any stayer could want. manistee was a lovely, quiet, lake-side town with an older and very welcoming population during our stay.

Christine and Alan were great people. They answered all of our questions and gave us some good local tips to beachs etc. Their place is very peaceful and quiet. The space was very well equipped. I hope to be back there again.

My parents live in Copemish and i was visiting. This place was nice and close! Being from the area i know how beautiful the surroundings are. The cabin was clean and had many things that reminded me of my childhood. It was clean and well stocked. Communication was also great. We will definitely be back next time i go home to visit.

Great stay just a short walk from the charming downtown - would stay again

We are so grateful to have been able to carve out a little time to reconnect and unwind - Fran's place was just what we needed! The house is located in an absolutely beautiful location - peace was felt all around from the moment you walked in the door. Fran was thoughtful enough to include so many extra items, from snacks, coffee AND coffee creamer to toiletries. If you forgot to pack something, chances are they are there for your use - it really made you feel like you were staying with someone who already knew you. Thank you for sharing your special slice of heaven with us!!

This place was awesome. Very peaceful location in a perfectly sized cabin that we continuously appreciated the more time we spent there. The nearby nature surroundings are great and you’re only minutes from the downtown riverfront and other activities. The private section connected to Lake Michigan for sunsets was an added feature. Will definitely stay again.

Chad was very welcoming and responsive and provided clear instructions. It’s a quick walk to downtown, which is super convenient. The place is very homey and clean and has a great aesthetic of a west Michigan lakeside home. I would love to rent there again!
