This hostel is absolutely superb and good value for money. The staff are friendly, helpful and go the extra mile to ensure that you are comfortable. The facilities are clean and are sufficient. Breakfast is good and basic items available. I recommend it 100%

Mr.Madaraka Nyerere is a great host, nice and humble. His house located in the center of Butiama. And his house is the house of Mwalimu Nyerere ;) As a researcher of Tanzanian studies I am so exciting to live in the house of Mwl and even have a opportunity to visit Mwl Nyerere home library. We also have nice talking about Mr. Madaraka himself and his father’s political life . Such a great safari to butiama. I highly recommend this house to stay.

Das Hostel ist so gemütlich, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und ich fühlte mich gleich wie zuhause. Ein ruhiger Garten, perfekt zum entspannen. Die Mitarbeiter helfen mit allem und sind mega sympathisch. Die Lage ist etwas ausserhalb des Haupttrubels, man erreicht jedoch alles mit einer kurzen Bajaji-Fahrt, und die Ruhe ist auch sehr willkommen. Alles war sehr flexibel und ungeplant länger zu bleiben, war kein Problem. Sheru hat für uns gekocht, ein fantastisches Essen! Ich kann das Kiota Hostel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!
