Jollyboys - Single Ensuite Room with Air Con

IfungaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I spent a long weekend here and was very happy with my stay. The food (both breakfast and dinner) was good, and the common area is a great place to work, relax and interact with other guests. The staff were always responsive, kind and helpful. My room had everything I needed. It had decent soundproofing and the bed was very comfortable (perhaps too comfortable XD). Hot water is always present and the pressure is perfect. The WiFi was great, allowing me to work, consume media and browse as needed. While the strength and speed is fantastic around the common areas, the signal from my room (back of the premises) was not available. Adding a booster/mesh would be appreciated. Overall I highly recommend Jollyboys and would gladly return.

Muke Village Guesthouse Private

CarloRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed 2 nights at Muke village guest house. The house is in the middle of a small traditional village. It is very safe and the local people are very friendly. The house is clean and well equiped: kitchen, bathroom with running water, shower, 24h electricity provided by solar panels, mosquitoe nets, confortable beds and clean sheets. It is located 5 minutes walk from the Mighty Zambezi river, surrounded by bush and trees, there is a nice open field nearby which can be used to play sports and a place to make a fire pit under huge and majestic trees. Very natural environment, incredible unspoilt night skies, quiet and peacefull. We were very welcomed by Alex and his family - he arranged car transfer from Livingstone which is 30 minutes away and can organize different activities. There is a small bar in the village to buy drinks and you can pre-order dinners from Alex. Bring drinking water and other essentials as closest store is 30 minutes away. It was an unforgettable experience

Family home

Thanks for the very nice stay in a calm house! We had access to a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room and a bedroom. Nina gave us helpful tips about activities in Livingstone. Sometimes there was no power, which we already expected as it was written in the description, so it wasn’t a big problem. The only difficult thing was finding the accommodation as the address doesn’t show right on Google Maps; coming from Musili Road you have to follow the Muzungwa Road further down than indicated up to a green gate on the left side. You can find it marked on Google Maps as Guest House in the Muzungwa Road.
