Country slow living at its best combined with outstanding hospitality. Our vacation started right after we entered the apartment which was exactly as described and cleaned to perfection. We immediately got recommendations on possible activities in the region and were actively supported during support with any request we had. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some relaxation in a peaceful environment.

From a warm welcome with cut meat, bread and cheeses, Maria Pia could not have been more helpful. She suggested some local restaurants and was quick to respond to any questions we had. Villa Giara is in a spectacular hillside location looking out across the plain to Lake Trasimeno and Castiglione del Lago. The picturesque villages of Paciano and Panicale are only a couple of minutes drive away. Both have cafes, bars and restaurants. The grounds surrounding the villa are kept immaculately, flowers adding a splash of colour and the trees providing shady areas if needed. The pool has a paved surround with seating and loungers and the view from here is superb as are the sunsets. We would unreservedly recommend a stay at Villa Giara. And Maria Pia is a fantastic host, she went the extra mile to make our stay an unforgettable one.

first I love his neighbors who checked us in. Cinzia was amazing. She not only showed us our place but took our kids to show us her farm. she also makes her own olive oil and gifted us with some! Wonderful Italian neighbors!! I contacted Rocky in advance and he provided me with specific recommendations for where we should go during a long drive we took. we went where he suggested and was not disappointed! Amazing quiet location with great near by wineries. would 100% recommend to everyone!

We delighted in our stay at Marcelo's place. His and Donna's renovation of a medieval, in-town house is impeccable. A substantial degree of professional interior design is evident in the minimalism, yet all works flow historically. The lower-level spa and sauna are hedonistic yet blend beautifully with the rustic ambiance. The technology underlying the works is largely absent from view - yet functional. The first floor features a kitchen which will not disappoint an avid chef. The sitting area is minimalist but softened by clever, "soft" upholstery choices, cushions and comforting throws. Selective sculpture and objects d'art complete the picture. The surface treatment of walls is superb, as if revealing centuries of habitation in layers, each agreeing with one another in terms of tone and pallet. The rendering and paint work is first rate. For the aesthete and practical traveller alike, Marcelo's place offers a considered, curated view into the past embraced by the present.

Everything went really well with Giovanni, a great host! The accommodation was absolutely wonderful, magnificent and peaceful. Just everything we needed for our vacation. Thank you so much for everything🙏🏼

Beautiful place for a group of families. Lovely surrounds and near to many nice restaurants and towns

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The cottage and gardens are beautiful and stylishly designed. Leonardo was also a lovely and accommodating host. The local town was approx a 20min walk away with a small supermarket and some lovely restaurants. We recommend Pomario winery for their wine tasting and charcuterie and also Slow Cooking school for a cooking class which is about 25min drive away from the cottage. A local hotel in the area, hotel Vanucci, was also a great place to grab breakfast or for late evening drinks after dinner. Highly recommended booking this beautiful place.

We had a fantastic vacation at Podere Tresa as a group of 12 students. The villa and property greatly exceeded our expectations from the pictures. The villa was spacious, clean, and up to date. There were many lovely areas to relax and talk with friends. Additionally, the property was extremely beautiful, large, and very well kept, with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. A highlight for us was watching the sunset right outside the kitchen doors. The pool area was well maintained and where we spent most of our time. Lastly, Maria was an amazing host. She was responsive, kind, and helpful, recommending multiple activities in the area as well as chefs for cooking classes and dinner. We would highly recommend this stay to anyone.
