Holiday houses in Maries

We really liked the loft at Georgia and it was exactly like the pictures. We had a lot of privacy. When sitting in the garden we got a surprise with some great local fruit and drink.

Dear Leticia and Spiros! We really didn’t want to go home! Their hospitality was outstanding, they were the best hosts we could find!!! Spiros even brought us apple pie, homemade, best we’ve ever had! We loved the quiet atmosphere, the house is completely remote and surrounded by olive trees. Our daughter loved the cats that are in the area, they all had names in the end :-) They waited for us at the church in the middle of the village and brought us to the house. We had snacks and water and wine from them. They showed us around, made sure we got everything we need. It was just perfect. We had the best holiday there! These people just deserve the 5 star rating! See you soon Leticia and Spiros. We will come back soon!

A lovely home. Roads are fairly narrow right there at it, but we didn’t have any trouble because there was limited traffic. The owner met us at the house to let us in late at night. We booked the same day we arrived and they were extremely flexible. They even brought us water bottles. We did have trouble navigating the hot water for showers. It’s possible we just didn’t listen well enough to the process as it was explained to us, but the next morning we were not able to get warm showers although the night before the water was warm. The exterior of the home was unsuspecting and we were pleasantly surprised with the interior. It looked like the pictures. I would not let the exterior of the home, deter you from staying here at all. We heard some chickens in the night and learned the next morning they were right outside the window. You may hear a dog barking too. There was a distant view of the sea from the balcony. It’s also really easy access to things to do in the area.

Wow! What can we say! This place is just amazing! Stunning location, so peaceful & a beautiful view of surrounding mountains & the ocean. The villa itself is spotlessly clean , the beds are comfy, lots of fluffy white towels plus dressing gowns & slippers included. Lovely beach/pool towels also included. The host (Arthur) was nothing short of incredible, he met us at the villa upon arrival to show us around, sent a list as long as your arm for places to visit & eat at & even put us in touch with a lovely guy to hire a boat from. He also messaged over our stay to ask if we needed anything. The pool was cleaned daily & house keeping pop in to bring fresh towels etc. I would say this villa is in a perfect spot to explore the islands hot spots & beaches. A few places around the corner are fabulous for food - Skinos, Orientes & Nobelos to name a few. Lovely little marina too. We also drove around 50 minutes to Zante town. Thank you for a beautiful stay! (We travelled 2 adults/2 child)

We had a wonderful stay! You have so much privacy, just nature and the sea. We recovered so well and enjoyed the view of the sea from the terrace and even from the bed. You fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves. We lacked nothing. In a few minutes you can reach some taverns/restaurants by car. The private access to the sea is perfect and the water is wonderfully clear. It was a super relaxing stay. The owner is super friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful time! The apartment is beautiful and has an excellent kitchen. The view is just as amazing as it is on the photos. Στελιος was very welcoming and helped make our time special! I highly recommend staying here! :)

Amazing, newly renovated home with beautiful outdoor spaces to dine “al fresco” and relax by the private pool. Maybe the best views on Zakynthos overlooking beautiful olive groves with amazing unobstructed panoramic view of the Ionian Sea. Plenty of space for our family of five, with a well stocked kitchen. Maria, the owner was very responsive and provided us with many great entertainment and dining recommendations. I don’t think you could find a better place with better amenities or a better view for the money. We also loved the little town of Maries, with a small food market (with fresh tomatoes, feta, and olives) with a great coffee and gyro cafe across the street. There are two other restaurants with beautiful views as well, all within walking distance. Conveniently centrally-located on the island, with most locations within 30 minute drive and 10-15 minutes to some of the best beaches (and snorkelling) on the island. Will definitely come back!!!
