Charming Kuskbostaden in Hajstorp at Göta Canal

Hajstorp is an idyllic at Göta Kanal, about 5 km north of Töreboda. Hajstorp has a café and hostel and many people who enjoy life here during the summer months. At the southwest end of Hajstorp is the Kanalingenjörsvillan, which has been a service residence for the canal engineers between 1902 and 2017. Today the Lahrin family lives in the villa. In a secluded part of the large garden is the small charming cow shed. It is from the mid 19th century but has been carefully equipped with toilet and small kitchen/kitchenette.

After a lovely hike on Kinnekulle, you get the best recovery by relaxing in the IR sauna or hot tub. Within 5 min walk there are restaurants, cafes, STC gym, shops, hairdressers, beauty salon and systembolaget. Right next door is a grocery store and around the corner is a pizzeria, masseur and a unique unmanned 24:7 IR & Massage studio, Irazpira24. Gotene is a small community with good offerings, however, no disco/nightclub. Travelling by car to Vänern and Kinnekulle takes only 15-20 minutes.

Not far from the house is Kvarnstensgruvan, where you can explore the mines and eat something. There are many hiking trails and nice walking paths in the area. 8 km away is a swimming lake where you also can buy a fishing license. In winter, it is close to a large toboggan run. Electric car chargers are available. Cleaning is not included, but can be purchased for SEK 800.

If you have an electric car, you can charge it with us (11kW) during your stay here.
