Outdoor kitchen, gas grill, dining area, beautiful view of Lake Vänern. The cottage has 1 bedroom with 140 cm bed and bunk bed and 1 bedroom with bunk bed. Unwind in this unique and tranquil space. Magnificent and varied nature with hiking trails just around the corner, cultural-historical surroundings and both beach and cliff baths. Sunny location morning to night with hammocks between the fruit trees that provide shade if needed. Small flagging that the ceiling height of the 2nd floor is lower than standard. 2 km walk to train connection. Oct-May the house can be rented monthly for SEK 9000 per month in "cold rent", i.e. the cost of heating and electricity is added.

Located separately on our property, the cottage has an open plan living/bedroom, TV/wifi, fireplace and an en-suite bathroom with massage bath. Kitchen in mini format; fridge, stove top, micro and basic equipment. It is self-catering in terms of towels and sheets but is also available for hire for those who wish.

Not far from the house is Kvarnstensgruvan, where you can explore the mines and eat something. There are many hiking trails and nice walking paths in the area. 8 km away is a swimming lake where you also can buy a fishing license. In winter, it is close to a large toboggan run. Electric car chargers are available. Cleaning is not included, but can be purchased for SEK 800.

There is plenty of room for two families or more. Beach and boat docks just 300 meters away. Down by the marina there is also a sauna raft with a wood-fired sauna that can be rented for SEK 300. Äppelgården Holiday Home

Äppelgården Holiday Home is a small cosy house, situated between the outside of the small village Ullervad and a forest. The river Tidan flows at 200mtr. from the house. The house is suitable for 6 adults (1 double bed is in the guesthouse) or 4 adults and 2 children. The house is available only on a weekly basis. Mariestad area offers a lot of opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, canoeing and interesting places to visit.

Here there is the silence and tranquility, in the surroundings that picked up from an Astrid Lindgren saga. You live next door with fields, forest and pastures, at the foot of Kinnekulle. The cottage is directly adjacent to Vänerleden and 1,5 km away connects Biosphere Trail. Close proximity to kinnekulles hiking trails, mountain bike tracks and cultural sights. Both Skara Sommarland and Läckö Castle are within a few miles.
