Furnished with combined kitchen/living room, furnished with sofa bed, table and folding chairs. TV with wide range is available as well as WiFi. The kitchen area has a refrigerator and freezer, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and kitchen equipment for up to 6 people. The bedroom is furnished with 120 cm bed and storage furniture. In addition, there is a sleeping loft with room for up to 4 mattresses. Bathroom with water toilet, shower and washing machine.

Nice cottage near Vänern & Sjötorp!

With proximity to Lake Vänern, there is the opportunity to enjoy the surroundings with the whole family in this cottage with associated guest house for a total of 8 people! Bike path connects this idyll with nice beaches just 5 minutes away, bikes are of course available to borrow for the whole family! Sjötorp/Göta Kanal can be reached by bike in just over 20 minutes (car 8 minutes). Skara Sommarland, Tiveden National Park, golf course, etc. are located in the nearby area! The cottage is also a perfect stop on Highway 26, on the way to the Swedish mountains!

The staff residence at Storön Gården

On Storön, you can experience tranquility, far away from the city but close to nature. Storön is a car-free island with no land connection. Here you will find Lake Vänern, which offers fantastic sunsets and swimming from both cliffs and sandy beaches. We also have a fantastic forest that offers a rich plant and animal life with both gravel road and animal trails. In winter, there are nice ice rinks for long-distance skating. The staff residence is located on a farm and every day there is the opportunity to come along and feed the animals.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Magnificent and varied nature with hiking trails nearby, cultural-historical surroundings and both beach and rock swimming. Sunny location from morning to night with hammocks between the fruit trees that provide shade when needed. Small flagging because the ceiling height on the 2nd floor is lower than standard. 2 km walkway to train connection. October-April, the house is rented out monthly for SEK 10,600 per month in "cold rent", i.e. the cost of heating and electricity is added.

A walk across the bridge leads to a nice restaurant with great variety and a 24/7 store with supplies. Sjönära stuga i Brommösund 25 minuter utanför Mariestad med närhet till Vänern på ön Torsö med bad, sjöutsikt, tystnad, vandring & båtutflykter. Mysig stuga med delvis sjöutsikt och en vacker vy över omgivande natur och ängar, 6 bäddar i två stugor, stor altan, grill, vedspis och 150 meter till badstrand. Möjlighet att hyra en mindre båt finns. Nära vandringsleder, restaurang, naturreservat och djurliv. Sängkläder, handdukar och parkering ingår.

The cottage is 4 km outside Sjötorp and 10 km outside Lyrestad. There is a possibility to get there by bicycle. Göta Canal runs through both communities where there are also cafés, grocery stores, restaurants, swimming areas and museums In the pictures, you can also see the nice Sjötorp, which is 10 minutes away by bike. A perfect cabin for hunters, outdoor enthusiasts or for those who are on the road. There are also bicycles for rent.
